I really only watch dubbed, because my vision is crap and I have a hard time seeing it and straining my eyes to read it then I end up with headaches. There have only been a few animes I've watched subbed and that was only because I really, really wanted to watch them.

I used to think that too lolllll as a kid I also believed that you couldn't eat seeds like watermelon or they'd grow in you or make you sick. I didn't carry that into adulthood, but thats one of the silliest things I can remember thinking as a child. That and I thought kidney beans were made of kidneys

@Serge heartless I have never seen Kimba, I am going to have to look that up and watch it since I'm sure it is able to be found online? This is what I was worrying about that they ruined the movie lol. It was probably my favorite movie as a kid and I wanted them to do it decently x_X

I love that style of anime art as well tbh, the 5 cm per second type. The way they draw it is really lovely. I also like the big-eyes style of anime art.

That always interested me as well. The first commercial jet flight was in 1952 and in only 17 years after that we landed on the Moon. That's a pretty huge jump in technology. But there's an interesting jump in all things technology after the supposed Roswell Alien crash. If you look at the last several hundred years of technology, and then the huge jump very suddenly after that it's kind of an interesting theory. One they explore a lot on that show so that's kinda neat to think about. They've shown a lot of video footage as well, I believe from London, where hundreds of people witnessed UFO's over London at once that was unexplained. Seems to happen quite often though with multiple cities more in recent years.

Aww yeah. That'll take most of your time right there. I was hoping to go see it today for my birthday, but still on bed rest so that isn't going to happen yet. I may end up having to wait until the home release myself. But I was looking forward to the theater experience.

I'm not sure if it came out yesterday or today. I thought it was today. I've been seeing a lot of people on social media saying it wasn't that great and an assortment of mixed reviews ;/ I'm just hoping they didn't ruin my favorite childhood movie lol.

Has anyone gone to see the new Lion King movie yet? If so did you like it? Was it as good as the original? Would you recommend seeing it? I haven't gone yet, I want to see it though since I loved the cartoon movie as a kid and the trailers make it look like it's going to be great.
