If you want something strange but heartwarming try Nazo no Kanojo X aka Mysterious Girlfriend X Both sub and dub are good. It's my favorite romance anime.

Nowadays I mostly watch shows subbed. That said, I take it at a case by case basis. Dragon Ball Z, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Trigun all had great dubs. Any of the "cute girls doing cute things" shows NEED Japanese voice actors because English doesn't work as well for those types of shows IMO.

I watched Zankyou no Terror subbed recently and the English was awful. Probably the worst thing about the show (which is a compliment).

Thanks for the greetings everyone. To answer the post above me I mostly do creative writing so short stories and the like. A recent favorite of mine (finished watching it a couple days ago) is Plastic Memories. I cried SOO much at the end.

Pretty excited for it. A lot of ppl hated Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire but I thought they were pretty good remakes.

Hope everyone's doing well! I got into anime relatively late compared to most people (only a couple years ago) but I'm really glad I did. I used to watch shows like Pokemon and Digimon as a kid but it never developed into an obsession until I got much older. Right now I'm really enjoying slice of life and romance shows. Really anything that makes me feel strong emotions or makes me laugh. I feel like there's so much to watch it's overwhelming but I'm slowly chugging along. Basically whenever I'm not writing (my main hobby) I'm watching shows. I actually find it helps with my creativity because I never know when a scene or something I see sparks an idea. BTW I found this forum literally by typing in "anime forums" on google and browsed around for a bit before joining. This looks like a nice community and I hope to contribute!
