I personally am disappointed seeing as it's been day 3395820 and they still haven't added namechanges, backwards compatibility with ps3 and free gameplay again.

In my opinion OUYA was just a failure from the start, I know they were in the right place at the right time but it was really under priced even for an andriod console, they did a good job generating the hype for the system but they didn't deliver it the way everyone had hoped, with that said those who funded it on kickstarter had one hell of a time trying to get their system from the campaign, I believe I read one of the comments a year after the OUYA was funded saying they were waiting on there system to be delivered. What really killed them was their idea of offering all the games for free, it's good for the ones that are already free in the google store, but no developer would make something with out making a few bucks off it -- Unless it was a hobby. @Seacliff "And it matches all the things that made the Ouya fail: it's power seems to be over a generation behind and seems to only play downloadable games." I beg to differ on this, OUYA was a start up trying to break into the console market with out any footing in anything else, as for the generation, I don't know, perhaps we will see something like that in the future but done properly and at that time everything will be download only, but since companies such as Samsung (Not sure about intel or crucial) have been working on furthering storage (Near the end of last year -- I believe -- samsung made a statement about creating a 15.4TB ~16TB SSD drive, being the storage for a single drive to date would love to pack that into me E5 ) you will most definately see the declining need for CD, even for movies. But for Apple one of the worlds leading tech companies to step into gaming, this means that they know whats up, for the past 3 years I've been waiting for apple and google to step into the gaming market, once they step in I personally believe they will end up causing havoc for the big 3 of gaming, especially google because they aren't afraid to let loose on things. Apple has nearly a decade's experience in the tech market, something OUYA didn't Apple knowns their iOS like the back of their hand and can manipulate it anyway they see fit, adding in a cluster of features, OUYA didn't Apple can afford a failure, OUYA couldn't Apple already has a market place available for this project, OUYA had to make their own The list can go on, I believe apple will do an amazing job stepping into the console market. "It's obvious it's not trying to compete with the big 3 consoles, but it's definitely going to be overshadowed by them. I'd be surprised if support for it goes over two years." I don't know, they only tell us what they want us to know, who knows maybe in 2 years time they actually are competing with the big 3 (Though it seems unlikely), spec wise apple will most likely be at the level microsoft is right now in no time, it is just a matter of will they be serious about this or just want to put out a console for kids and casual/non-hardcore gamers, even then I could see it being semi-popular. That said, if google jumped into the mix it would really stir the pot.

First off i'd like to thank Optic, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have found his forum to begin with. I have a few names you can call me, Ty, Lord sexy pants, King of the oppai, Lurk, The Neet and obviously Fundah, any of these will do when you go to address my awesomeness. I've been to quite a few anime communities, a couple of them died out but most of the community took a 180 and I left because I was disgusted, now-a-days I spend my time making the occasional post on MaiOtaku or just lurking in the shadows waiting for my moment to strike. I've been watching anime for nearly all my life, I took a big liking to it by the time I was 9, by the time I was 12 I learned what exactly anime was and spent most of my time online streaming it, I can't even count how many anime I go through every 2 weeks, kinda a shame a season is only 12-13 episodes long The anime i've taken a liking to are the typical mainstream stuff like fairy tail, one piece, naruto etc. but the ones I really liked would have to be Aoharu x Kikanjuu, SAO, Angel Beats, Clannad, Initial D, Gundam Seed/Destiny and Pokemon The anime I'm currently keeping myself up to date on consist of (aside from mainstream) Schwarzesmarken Dimension W Haikyuu!! (Never been able to get into sports anime before) GATE (which has the lovely miss rory x3) Divine Gate Assasination School God Eater And the anime I'm going to be starting next week medaka box D. Grayman (seen up to episode 48, left it there because they didn't dub any more eps) OniAi busou renkin Plastic neesan (seen a scene on youtube and laughed my ass off ) To aru majutsu no index D.frag The list just keeps going on, think theres somewhere around 60, always open to suggestions so spam my with all the anime you have. Not really into manga because I hate the idea of reading books.. oddly enough I enjoy subbed anime Though we all have our dirty little secrets, mine haunts me and has been haunting me for nearly 6 years.. Now, my family was leaving for marineland/niagra falls and it was 4am in the morning and I was waiting for them to get ready so I sat down on the couch and decided to turn the tv on, there was an anime, an interesting anime I wanted to write down the name to watch at a later date, unfortunately I couldn't because my dad picked me up and took me out to the van.. it haunts me every day because I only remember 2 snippets of the anime 1 being: this guy saving a girl (generic plot eh?) who is being hunted down by what I now presume to be the military and ends up taking her and hiding in a cave to wait out the persuers and 2. this girl was being called out on committing genocide, she opens the hatch to her mech and lowers herself down to where the people are -- end of memory. Not like I expect anyone to know it, just want you all to know how much i've suffered and to pitty me pretty much sums it all up, feel free to ask if need more o3o
