  1. Hey everybody! So, lately I've been spending more time on my Facebook than usual and as I was looking on my news feed, I saw a sponsored ad for something called "Japan Crate"! And OH. MY. GOSH. I found the best thing ever! Japan Crate is a website where you can order Japanese crates monthly of all sorts of goods you can only find in Japan! There are 3 different kinds of crates: The original crate (Japanese candy delivered straight to you! There are 3 different sizes you can choose from), Doki Doki (You get a crate full of adorable plushes and cute Japanese items), and Umai (get special ramen and ramen-eating supplies!). One of the best parts about it is that what you get is a surprise! They send a variety of items monthly and it's so cool! I fell in love with the idea the moment I saw it, and I just ordered my first Doki Doki crate! Also, the shipping is FREE in the United States so there are no additional fees! Woo hoo!!
  2. Haha I have never dated a coworker because for a long time my only coworkers were girls. But man this guy is so awesome. I keep trying to shake the feeling but nothing is working.
  3. Hey! I didn't see a topic about this yet, so I wanted to start one! I LOVE bad ass female characters and I'd love to cosplay them! I have tons of favorites but here are a couple okay so I decided to show all of the coolest female characters from Black Lagoon. Balalaika is a powerful woman with a tough war-filled background. She has many loyal subordinates that will do anything for her, so don't even think about getting on her bad side. Sister Eda Black, or who I like to call the nun with guns, is wayyyy far from your typical nun. hahaha don't be deceived by her clothing, because she kills and wears showy clothes like anybody else. Chinglish, AKA Shenhua is so freaking cool! Her combat style consists of blades, blades, blades. Kunais, shurikens, katanas, you name it! Roberta, AKA Blood Hound is an unstoppable killing machine! Once she lays her eyes on her target, you're as good as dead! She won't stop for anything to kill her prey. And last but not least, Revy! AKA Two Hands She just has that kick-ass personality and she never gives in. She makes herself a challenging opponent and can defeat multitudes of people with just her two guns!
  4. I've never received a fine, but I got pulled over by a cop 10:00 at night once for going 52 on a 40 mph road.. But it was a two lane road on each side and there was not a single car out! They just wanted something to do. As soon as they were done pulling me over and talking to me and my friend, they let me go with no fines and left the area.
  5. hahaha I could if I tried, but I'm not gonna embarrass myself. He still has a girlfriend at the moment and trying to pull a move on him is the last thing on my list hahaha
  6. Well, it really depends on the person. I mean, some people can be incredibly influenced by both friends and partners, but in most cases I can't be influenced by either. That could just be the part of me that is stubborn about my beliefs and I stick to them, but he could've easily been influenced by both. But also, some of the happiest people are the saddest, and maybe the influence from everybody around him caused his emotions to come out. But there can be so many factors, that it's hard to answer without him giving his own answer.
  7. It's so cool to see everybody's result because you get to see everybody in a different way! Instead of just anime fans, we get to see our personality deep down. It's awesome
  8. Whether you are a guy or a girl, I am sure many of you have been into a nail salon before for SOME reason. In any nail salon that I've ever been into, all of the workers seem to be Vietnamese families. I thought it was strange that it's such a common thing, so I decided to search it up! According to Nails Magazine's 2012-2013 Industry Statistics, 48% of nail professionals in the nail industry are Vietnamese Americans. What I found was, Tippi Hedren, who starred in Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 classic The Birds, was a volunteer with a humanitarian group that worked with Vietnamese refugees in Sacramento. Having escaped war-torn Vietnam, the refugees lived in a tent city that the actress often visited. Tipp Hedren said in an interview that the women at the refugee camp were fascinated by how nice her nails looked. So, Hedren decided to bring her manicurist once a week to give the women a lesson on doing nails. Hedren then decided to enroll Citrus Heights Beauty School near Sacramento as students! And from there they built their nail salon empire!
  9. So, awhile back I did personal research on mysterious deaths that are often overlooked or forgotten about. I thought they were extremely interesting and not many people I know have heard about them. So I'm going to share them on here. *Caution if you get creeped out easily, you may not enjoy the article. It's very interesting but kind of creepy.* 1. The Death of Elisa Lam Day of disappearance- January 31, 2013 On January 31, 2013 a 21 year old woman went missing at the Cecil Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. She was originally a university student in Vancouver, traveling alone to visit the major cities of California. On January 26, she arrived in Los Angeles. Two days later is when she checked in to the Cecil Hotel. It was reported that the hotel assigned her to a shared room on the hotel's fifth floor; however, after roommates complained about "certain odd behavior", she was moved to her own private room after two days. While traveling, Elisa kept in touch with her parents. On the day she had to check out of the hotel and go to Santa Cruz, her parents had not heard from her and got worried. The parents called the LAPD and they went on a search for their daughter. Hotel staff reported that day that Elisa Lam was last seen alone. They also revealed footage of her last moments on camera, in the elevator. She showed very odd behavior. [Watch the video in the link below] *It's kind of creepy....* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJ_E6l1P86U The search went on for over two weeks before they found her body on the morning of February 19, 2013. Hotel guests of the Cecil were complaining to management about low water pressure in their rooms. Some also claimed the water being an odd color, with an unusual smell. Employees decided to investigate and check out the water tanks. In one of the water tanks, an employee found Lam's body floating face up and naked. (That is so disgusting! That means hotel guests have been drinking and bathing in water with a dead body in it for over two weeks! I would die of disgust if I was in that situation) But that's where the real freaky stuff begins. Investigators figured out the cause of death (drowning), but couldn't even explain how she got there in the first place. Doors and stairs that accessed the hotel roof are locked, and only staff have the passcodes and keys to get there. Any attempt to force the doors open would have triggered an alarm. Although, the hotel's fire escape could've allowed her to bypass the security measures, if she or somebody else knew of it. Another question is how she could have possibly gotten into the tank by herself. All of the tanks are 4-by-8-foot tanks that are propped up on concrete blocks. There is no easy access to them and hotel workers have to use a ladder to even look at the water. They are protected by heavy lids that would have been difficult to replace from within. There are tons of theories and SO much more information to find out about this case. If you find this to be an interesting read, google search "The Death of Elisa Lam" Well, I planned on sharing more, but it is very late at night and I am now in tears from reading other articles of mysterious deaths. So that'll be it for now! This will probably be my only mysterious death article but if you want more, just let me know. I hope you enjoyed reading! I will plan on writing again soon!
  10. Today has been nice! I swear I'm always busy. But this website gives me peace.

  11. Hey! I recently found a really cool website that everybody needs to check out. You take a quiz (it doesn't take long) and based off of your results, gives you what your personality type is. It's scientifically backed up and some businesses actually use it to test people applying for management positions. It's really great! https://www.16personalities.com/ I got The Protagonist: Few personality types are as inspiring and charismatic as Protagonists. Their idealism and vision allow Protagonists to overcome many challenging obstacles, more often than not brightening the lives of those around them. Protagonists’ imagination is invaluable in many areas, including their own personal growth. That was really only part of my answer though. It goes into great details about everything. Tell me your results below!
  12. I agree with you on that to an extent, but honestly the definition of "true love" can mean something completely different for other people. Some people believe in the hokey pokey love that is seen in movies but I don't see it that way. I see true love as a relationship that has its problems, but the problems are still able to be worked out. Like with family! You may all have quarrels and conflict, but in the end you still end up loving them anyway.. Now, not every family is like that, but families full of loving family members are like that. Same goes with life partners. Love is a strong emotion and it's often times the root of people's emotional problems. Human beings want attention, they want to be loved. They want to have purpose in people's lives. I mean, I'll even throw anime in as an example. You always see it in anime. The characters want to have purpose, they want to be important to others. It's just how we are.
  13. Maybe we'll get an option. I certainly hope we have options
  14. I've never done it before, but I would definitely go for it if we weren't working together but still talked.
  15. It's okay! I tend to go on too sometimes, but I totally agree with you!
  16. I used to think this doll in my room was a vampire or something. She creeped me out EVERY night! It's just how I saw her.
  17. Just started watching Ajin... Pretty good. Close to the manga so far but didn't Kei Nagai's mother disown him in the manga?

  18. No, I totally agree with you on that. It's so much scarier thinking you see something that isn't there anymore. Like, when I see a spider, I am scared of it but I do something about the spider because I can. But one time when I was little, I have a wall mirror so I could see my entire bed. I was looking in the mirror and I could have sworn I saw something under my bed and I was frozen in my bed. I couldn't move because I didn't know what to do and I sure didn't know what it was. And death is a little scary, but you don't have to think of it as a terrible thing. Maybe it's nice to be in an eternal sleep. The thought of being nonexistent is scary only because we don't know what it's like. Our minds can't process the idea of not being able to manipulate our environment, or think, or anything. But maybe it's a good thing. Religion is a good thing to help with it because it makes you feel more secure and accept your unavoidable death. We all have to accept it, but not all of us do.
  19. Yeah, he was! And speaking of cutting, I actually cut my fingernail really badly with a razor the other day... But that has nothing to do with this post haha
  20. Omg nooo! If you knew him you'd wanna cut him too. And no cutting yourself.
  21. If he ever comes back, I will cut him hahaha he's such a jerk!
  22. I just realized that my profile posts show up on my summary... haha now everybody knows I have a girl crush on Revy.

  23. Well, I guess you can consider my last ex to be "emotionally abusive". Because if he had a problem, he would guilt me and if I had a problem he would ignore it. I'm a very very loving person but he is the one person on this earth that I don't want to see exist. He technically doesn't exist in my world anymore though because I've graduated high school and he hasn't so yayyyy!
  24. No problem! It's a subject that always comes up in my mind. That "Paul" guy and I were officially together for a year, but had loved each other for way longer than that. But, my last ex ruined me for awhile. So I'm staying single until maybe I'll run into the one. I'm really afraid I won't though.
  25. If you're a fan of country music, you would know that Nashville, Tennessee is the heart city of all country music. It's a place where the majority, if not all country music is made. You can find any country music star you can think of living in some part of Tennessee. But many tourists have the wrong idea about Tennessee. - NO, we do not all have country accents. In fact, 90% of the people I know don't even have country accents. Some of the country singers don't even have accents! Sometimes they fake it! - NO, the majority of us do not say weird little things like "You're sweeter than a Georgia Peach!" No! That's something that maybe my grandmother would say but I can't even recall a time she's said anything like that. - NO, we all do not wear cowboy boots and hats. I have only seen 3 people in my entire school life wear cowboy boots. - Nooo, we do not all like country music. We like all types of music just like anybody else. The only reason I know a lot of country songs is because at my job, country music is all they play. - Nooo, not everybody can play a guitar and sing! Although there are many street performers, and wanna-be celebrities, we don't all want to be singers.
