Planetes, Texhnolyze, and Neon Genesis Evangelion

I’m currently re-watching Planetes because my boyfriend hasn’t seen it and was super interested (also it’s one of my favourites). I don’t have any issues re-watching stuff, I’ve done it plenty of times. 

I had a premium account ages ago. It was kinda cool and seemed to work well for me. But it didn’t really hold my interest and I stopped using it a long time ago. 

Pretty average day for a weekday. Starting earlier at work this week though because I’m learning how to do the soups and salads in the morning. Excited to learn and it means some nice hours for my next paycheque. 

Got a cold though, so been coughing lots and now a bit stuffed up. It’ll pass though

I really like hot chocolate. When it comes to milk beverages, I prefer strawberry milk over chocolate milk

If you’ve got a rolling mat, sushi is fairly straightforward too. 

I’ve been thinking a lot about language lately. It’s a good thing to challenge yourself to learning another language. It gets your brain active and can even help prevent or delay the onset of Alzheimer’s and dementia in old age. 

Being in Canada, it is required to take minimal French classes during your school years. I took it beyond the minimum requirements, but due to non-use and not bothering to persue it, I’ve since forgotten what I’ve learned in it. 

When I was with my ex, we lived with his family and they’re from Slovakia. So I was exposed to Slovak for a year and a bit. Even though I wasn’t taking any extra effort to learn the language, being around it all the time it slowly became easier for me to understand. I was beginning to use the words I knew/picked up more often when I ended that relationship. 

I’ve always been interested in learning Chinese or Korean, though I’ve never really known why. 

If I was being practical, then I suppose I’d learn French because it’s one of Canada’s official languages. But I have a hard time getting into it. 

Who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually put in an effort to learn a second language. 

If you’re looking for something current, Ito Junji: Collection is currently ongoing. Seems like it could be creepy. I watched a couple episodes and it was alright. Better to check it out for yourself though

I watched the first episode recently. That combined with previews from season 2 really has my interest piqued. So I’ll be watching it at some point

I collect tea sets. I use my tea sets. So the obvious conclusion then should be I drink more tea than coffee right? Wrong. 

I drink both about equal, though maybe tea a bit more.

Oh, this is awkward. I haven't watched any "current" anime for several years now. I made an attempt a couple seasons ago, but quickly gave up. I have a hard time getting into ongoing shows, so I usually don't even have any idea what current or recent shows there are!

I've only watched one Asian drama, I really liked it though.
