  1. Oh, I fricking love DW! The hours of mindless fun you get out of it is so worth it, especially with the Empires expansions in each installment. I personally started following DW from DW5 onwards. That installment is probably the best one I've played out of all the installments they have so far. I find it kinda funny too, this is what got me interested in the Three Kingdoms Era of chinese history. It's pretty fun to learn about it as you play through the game -- get a bit of educational bonus on the side, you know? I like what they did with DW8 storylines. I think it worked out for the best for now; but looking at long term, I'm not sure if I'd like for it to stay as is or revert back to character storylines, instead of the Kingdom storylines. That said though, Jin's storyline may benefit greatly if they stick to the Kingdom storyline format in future installments, if they ever decide to expand upon it more.
  2. WATCHING: New Game!

  3. Hey there! It's nice to meet you and welcome to Anime Forums!
  4. Heya, guys! So being a music lover, I've always liked to listen to songs or just plain instrumental background music whenever I can. After looking around here, I'm curious to know now. What do you think of Japanese Doujin Music and the Utaites? I'm pretty new to both, myself, as I've only recently came to discover both of them. To those who are not in the know, Japanese Doujin bands are the equivalent to what we call Indie bands from the west. They're groups of people who self-publish their music. The utaite, is someone who does covers of songs that already exist. They basically do their own takes on a song by rearranging the composition, at times, or just sticking as close as possible to the original. So personally, I've always liked FELT and Primary, ever since I've listened to one of their songs a little while ago. You could say they are my favourite doujin bands. With the utaites, Yuikonnu is at the top of the list. Interestingly enough, she also leads Primary. Some of my other favourites include Sana, Ayaponzu, Hanatan and Reol. I'll take the liberty of leaving two songs here. Give them a spin and share you think! I'm looking for recommendations on this as well, so if you happen to be a seasoned veteran, maybe you could recommend to me some of your favourite doujin bands and utaites. fragile garden - Primary http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_fn_0ENAbc Skygate - FELT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtgpsovixYQ
  5. Farewell - Audiotreats Such a relaxing song to listen to. Give it a go. I think they live up to their band name. It's such a treat to the ears http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ad4kufxLcE
  6. Thanks! I haven't been keeping up with new games, console-wise. The last thing I remember playing was a Guitar Hero game. There's something about music rhythm games that always keep me playing that. Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Resident Evil are some of the other franchises I used to follow. If we're talking online based, you'd find me around Runescape and Osu almost all the time -- they are my main online games. To the others who have posted, thanks a lot for the warm welcome!
  7. Thank you! I have quite a long list of watched shows so far. But off the top of my head -- Nagi no Asukara, Clannad, Steins;Gate, Your Lie in April and most recently, Kimi no na wa. I think almost all of the shows I watch and come to love tend to be drama/romance as you can see but ehh, all of the shows I've mentioned have earned a rightful place on my list, in my eyes. And yes! I love Key stuff! Ever since I've watched Angel Beats some years ago, I've always been interested in whatever Key is doing. The first visual novel I've read was actually Rewrite, which is also a Key work. Fantastic VN, in my opinion. I think it took me about a month to finish due to the length but it was so worth it. I assume, you have read it too? So yeah, Akane is, hands down my personal favourite from Rewrite. Shizuru is too cute to resist, though. Her story line was also great and really got to me, at certain points. You probably know what I'm talking about.
  8. Hello there! Newbie here. I'm not really sure on what to write here to share with you guys. But the one thing that's 100% safe to say about me is, I'm an anime fan! I'd say it is one thing that exists in this world that I have actually taken a keen interest in and haven't fallen out of, ever since. I also love to listen to music -- something I probably will never get tired of. Music and anime aside, I'm also a casual gamer with a growing interest in reading visual novels. Anyhoo, I shall stop here. I look forward to meeting you guys! Cheers!
