How would you go about conquering the world?

Excellent question... I haven't really considered it before

I would probably go the same way as most crazy leaders, work my way up the ranks of government by appealling to the tired and maniuplated working class until I became the President/Prime Minister of a large and powerful country. I'd get myself an army, lots of conscription, form an empire etc.

All the nasty nasty corrupt leaders do quite a good job of it, so I think I would follow them

Mind if I ask what specifically about what Your Lie In April had wrong with it that caused you to drop it? Even as someone who has tired of a lot of tropes that it without a doubt has, I find it every enjoyable and interesting, so I'm very curious about what kept you from finishing it.

I only got one episode in before thinking "nah."

I found it boring, there was nothing that immediately got my attention so I just didn't bother after that first one.

I may go ahead and try again one day, I won't rule that out!

I went in with impossibly high expectations too so that probably led me to be a little bit disappointed.

@Nectar ...I vote Nectar. You seem busy, however, you also don't seem as calculating in discovering who the real traitor is, in comparison to last game. Which has thrown some flags up for me. It could be due to the fact you're just busy. But it's also slightly unlike you. Also, I feel like your change in vote last round could have been a ploy to appear like you're actually trying to narrow down the killer, when it may very well be you and you're trying to keep up with appearances.

Yes. Yes I was busy. Very busy. Stupidly busy the last couple of days. If I'm ever not active here, it is because I am too busy to be here.

I would like to apologise really, for not doing so much crazy deduction. Some of it is partly deliberate since I got it a little off the truth last time and didn't want to be wrong for a second time. In the coming days I'll step up my game, I'm sure.

I'll accept my first vote happily. I'm surprised I've survived such a long time with next to no attention at all despite my activity.

I was drawn to the Rewrite anime as I really enjoyed a lot of other KEY titles (Angel Beats, Little Busters, Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet)

 

But after just one episode, I was turned off by it and dropped it because I found it so disorienting, confusing and convoluted.

 

I think it was definitely aimed for people that have played the VN game who already had background knowledge of the universe and its characters...

Rewrite was an interesting one. I actually watched the first season all the way through. Disgusting CGI, and the plot was a bit loose and had not much of a direction. Wasn't even much of a story. But I watched it and it was okay.

Rewrite Moon and Terra, the second season, that's the one I dropped. First few episodes were okay, but after that it just turned into a complete mumbling mess. I too found it disorientating, confused and definitely convoluted.

I've dropped the following, all together:

The only reasons that I dropped these were that they just weren't interesting to me, some were pretty good, they just had no appeal for me or they were boring

Today! Ahh, what a beautifully painful day.

Been rather "ill" recently, kind of made myself "ill" with a whole string of unfortunate events.

Been working far too hard on head boy applications and publicity for my school, it's just completely burnt me out everywhere.

Exam mocks... daily... all of a sudden. My right hand hurts so damn much.

Just been so damn drained and I had shut myself off from absolutely everyone because the only thing I was doing was working, I never stopped. Completely unlike me. It sucked.

What tops it all off? Got completely and utterly and unfathomably hammered last night. Probably the first time I've been properly drunk and it was absolutely awful. There is no way in hell I'm going near that shit again. 1 and a half wine glasses of 40% vol gin. Revolting stuff. I think the experience has done me good though, quite the wake up call it was. Kind of prompted me to sort myself out.

Waking up with no memory of the previous night, bin of puke next to my bed. Classic.

Don't drink, anybody.

And don't do homework either. I tried it out and it sucks. Games are more fun.

Admittedly, I haven't been posting here as much as I should have. In fact, I had completely forgotten about it... twice.

So I've had a good look over everybody and I've come to a vote of my own, since others are begininning to do the same.

Of course! It's such a sexy car, on the interior and on the body. A little awkwardly shaped in a couple of areas, but it has a great ass and it sounds amazing. I gotta say, I like 'em curvy.

My natural preference stereotypically skews to the small and cute. Though, I do have a thing for muscle cars as well, lol.

I've always been this way, sadly. There's a reason for it - I actually suffer from generalized anxiety disorder, hahaha (is this tmi???). It means that I'm generally a nervous wreck, at the best of times. So, yeah, voice chat. Stuff and things. I'm shy! If you *really* want to know the reason for it, then here you go -

(The irony here is that I keep a cool exterior and never actually flinch when faced with an emergency. In fact, I'm known at work and among family for being an excellent "first responder" to total disasters. I can calm people down and take control of a f****** horrible situation with cool logic. No matter how bad things get, I stay calm and focused and operate at 110% until the disaster has passed.

 

However, I'm actually a broken up mess on the inside. When things are calm, I'm more or less constantly thinking about every single possible thing that could ever go wrong. I sometimes don't sleep I sometimes miss meals; and I sometimes get either tense or maybe uncomfortably wild/silly. So, yeah, I'm a great leader during a disaster, but I'm actually a broken up mess on the inside. HOW'S THAT FOR IRONY?!

 

Apparently, too many disasters leaves you like me. My entire childhood was a disaster. BUT, I'm not gonna talk about that!

 

Anyways! Yeah, that's kinda why I'm shy. I don't want to scare people away, and I've scared away enough people to not want to just do it accidentally. It isn't a conscious thing that I can directly control. My shyness is subconscious, just an instinctive avoidance. Give me time to learn you and I'll get familiar enough to maybe even want to talk via voice. It takes a while, sometimes.)

I hope you're alright with sharing that! Naa, it's not tmi at all, I can try to understand. I've been like that before, a few years back. My childhood was rough too. (though I won't make any assumptions that mine was even remotely similiar in magnitude)

Now to be honest, in actual fact, and this is from the inside, VC isn't something I'm even that comfortable with, it's just something I'm curious about and would like to force myself into at some point. Sounds fun once I get the hang of it. Nerve-wracking, but sounds fun. Nobody ever got anywhere without trying new things, so that's why I'm acting so casual about it ^w^
