Yuuki_Radosian Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) [FLOAT_RIGHT] [/FLOAT_RIGHT] The final season in the Monogatari series I expect some great visuals and a great story from the last of the Monogatari series and I am looking forward to another great Monogatari season but I am also sad that this is the last one , hopefully we will have closure by the end and enjoy a great season on the way there. I can't say that I like Ougi much , she is pushy and annoying , hopefully there is a reason for her being so annoying about what is going on. Yuuki_Radosian Posted October 25, 2015 Author Share Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) I am a little disappointed that so much time was wasted on the argument over who would go with Araragi but it looks like the next episode should have some interesting scenes with those three together ... Araragi is probably going to get slapped (if not with a hand than with a realization of something he forgot ... again). Hanekawa is a much better assistant / partner so far , mostly because she isn't as creepy as Ougi and the tea thing was pretty cool even though she missed few drops. I am glad that we got to see the end of the Sodchi arc , I was starting to get annoyed at how long it was getting dragged out (even in this episode ... though that's mostly on Araragi for being so slow). I am guessing that the suit of armor was Shinobu's former partner. What I am most happy about is the change in the OP and ED , which is now much much better and more beautiful than it was before. It seems as though Araragi will still fight the first but the reasons for the first's return and will to see Shinobu again may not be what we were expecting. Yuuki_Radosian Posted December 22, 2015 Author Share Posted December 22, 2015 To be honest I was a little underwhelmed by the ending of Owarimonogatari. The fight between Araragi and the first was less than I expected it to be but it was a smart play by Araragi to use the seal. Shinobu's last words with the First were also a little less than expected. There was also Ougi , who I still dislike , it seemed to me that she was only there to buy some time , though she may have had some small impact on Araragi's thinking before the fight with the First. The major problem that I have with this series it that it petered out and ended like nothing happened , though I suppose in a way that is a good way to end the series I just feel let down by it.
