Anime Midwest 2024: Who's Planning to Attend?

With Anime Midwest 2024 just around the corner, I wanted to start a thread to see who else is planning to attend this year! Whether you're a seasoned convention-goer or it's your first time, let's connect and share our excitement for this upcoming event.

I'm particularly excited about:
- Checking out the amazing cosplay outfits
- Attending panels with some of my favorite voice actors and creators
- Hunting for exclusive merch in the dealer's room
- Meeting fellow anime fans and making new friends

So, who’s planning to go? What are you most excited about? Are you cosplaying, and if so, what characters? I'm planning to wear Sailor Mars casual outfit and Tomoyo Daidouji's yellow outfit the next day.

I had wanted to go because it's only a short train ride away from where I live in Chicago, however we are moving this weekend to an entirely different state so I won't be able to go. There is a few upcoming anime conventions in the state I'm moving to I'm planning on attending so I'm looking forward to that.

Yaaa I really wanted to go too, but like he said, we will be moving this weekend and won't be in Chicago for it  Which is sad because yeah Rosemont is only about 40 minutes away in a train, less in a car. If you need any tips for local places to eat or visit though outside of the convention I can point you in the direction of a lot of cool places in Rosemont!
