My family didn’t have cable so I missed out on the nostalgic Toonami era a lot of people talk about & didn’t encounter it until it was part of Adult Swim. My most significant memory probably being it was where I watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in it’s entirety. Since I’m back to not having cable again (just streaming), I have to rely on the Adult Swim app for Toonami exclusives. Hoping the upcoming Lazarus will break the streak of underwhelming titles (FLCL Grunge / Shoeglaze, Ninja Kamui, Uzumaki)

Hearing Toonami come on TV meant Zoids: Chaotic Century, and I was a very happy 10-year-old.

I grew up in the 90s but I seldom watched the Toonami block because I didn’t stay up late enough to watch it. I had a bedtime as a child lol. However, I did sometimes get a glimpse at anime that would air. I don’t watch the block today, as anime is far easier to access on the internet/via streaming services. It is very cool that is still around, though. I definitely respect it.
