Dr. Egghead
I'm trying to create a logo for my scanlation group, here's something I created after I saw something similar on Pinterest. Any advice or feedback is appreciated. Edited May 21, 2025 by Dr. Egghead
Moestub
Looks good and modern, no issue with it to be honest, should be a good fit if it has the same overall theme as the kind of manga you're translating (samurai, historical etc.)

Maybe a background would help? it feels barren i guess, like this is a layer from a full image. You might be correct, but on the other hand, I think a new design might be necessary, but I'm not sure I have the skills for it. My abilities in illustrator are limited, unlike photoshop which I've been using for almost 7 years.
Eris
I know limited info about this sort of thing except what I learned from Sakura. Have you tried doing a drop shadow to make it pop out. She might have an idea like Soramee said she's pretty good at that stuff. @Sakura ideas?

Sarada
The drop shadow idea is kinda a good one when I'm doing graphics it helps the renders stand out just enough to create a pop feel.
