Any fellow divers here? This is a general discussion thread for anything and everything Helldivers II related. 

Let me know what your favorite loadouts are. What stratagems and weapons do you HAVE to take with you for every mission? What's your favorite armor set (for buff or cosmetics)?

I'm pretty clear cut, and I don't usually change out what I have. I bring...

- Orbital Strike

- Gun Dog

- EAT/Commando/Railgun

- Machine Gun Sentry

- Thermite grenades

- Ultimatum

- Liberator Penetrator

I usually wear the Clinician armor (in spoiler below).

This is my general loadout for any mission, regardless of difficulty or faction.

Are you a bugdiver, botdiver, or squiddiver? Or, do you care only about MOs?

For me, it's bugs > squids > bots.

As of my writing of this post, we had just pushed back the Illuminate from Super Earth. What did you think of the new Heart of Democracy update? I was already playing HD II sparingly, but I just had to join in on the fight when I heard that the Illuminate finally touched down. The Mega City maps are really nice, and with all the SEAF troops and civilians running around I felt so immersed in the gameplay. We cut it very close, but democracy has prevailed once again.

Helldivers 2 for Xbox was announced today! Thoughts? Will you be joining the fight to defend Super Earth?

I found video reply to this news and some gamers want to not get the next new gaming system due to the game making a jump to another platform. Sucks to be them I am sticking to the system i love thank you. Don't get hit by the door on the way out as you leave your saltiness behind. Just wanted to give my take on this.

Yeah--I don't understand why people are upset the game is coming out on Xbox. Why would it not be a good thing? You get:
- More players for Major Orders

- More financial income for Arrowhead

- Increased longevity for HD 2 because of how much more accessible it is now.

I convinced one of my work friends to get the game, who was waiting for it to come out on Xbox; good for him! I'm excited to play with him, because I've been telling him how much fun it is. But yeah, I don't know if all the backlash is just this generation's version of the 'Console Wars,' which makes absolutely no sense to me. But that's beside the point.

This game was the reason I came to this channel more than 1 year ago. Fighting for democracy never ends!
