Ideas Ive had over the years...

Hiya again folks! Monokub here!

Soooooo idk exactly where to post these since idk if there's like an "idea thread", and these aren't exactly "fanfics", so I don't know if I could put them in the Writing forums here, so I figured for the time being it would be best to leave the ideas Ive discussed in the past here in this section.

So as I said before, I have anime/manga ideas coming out the wazoo~ it's been a blessing, a curse, and overall, one big headache that won't leave me alone because they swirl endlessly through my head XP. As stated before, these are ideas Ive had off the top of my head- any similarities to existing animes (like the way "The weakest tamer" anime starts, I swear to God I never watched it before getting the exact same idea T_T...) are purely that- coincidental.... Also doesn't help I'm partly psychic, either that or the most "coincidental man" in the world cause I swear to God it happens WAY TOO OFTEN T_T!!!... But moving on ^^ to begin with, I'll regale a few messages I talked to a friend of mine about on those manga reading sites. I should note any grammer errors are more or less just auto correct. Also it'll sound more direct cause these first few ideas I'll be leaving here are just copy and pasted from what I wrote to him. But without further ado, let's begin my series of miscellaneous eventful mangas/animes with the second most recent one I've had for your typical "guy gets kicked out of the party" anime, "The Green Mage Joins a Monster Guild!?" (And yes like in typical anime tradition, the title is overly long and nonsensical XP again, the first idea below will be copy and pasted from what I sent my friend, I only have a few ideas I'll be posting like this so once that's settled, I'll be able to speak more formally ^^):

1st, your typical "op hero being kicked and joins new group" cliche one that came to me due to the numerous animes I've seen o. Crunchyroll - to make a long story short, stars your typical seemingly underachiever young girl who's a support member for a group of powerful adventurers. But, get this, I know you've NEVER heard of this concept before- the team gets tired of her weakness and KICKS HER FROM THE TEAM GASP!!!... Ok kidding aside, they're not your typical group of dicks who do this, they have legit reason.

continuing on they have their legit reasons. First of all, the young girl, Luna, who is legit a child in her preteens to start with, is what's known as a "Green Mage", a rather rare type of magic usually respected in the kingdom, but hers is a problem- while most green mages would normally be known for their renown ability to pave and create the very land around them, all she can do is grow and create flowers, so you can understand why throwing a handful of petals at a monster isn't exactly effective XP. What's more, she has something of a soft spot for humans and monsters alike- while her combat abilities are not even close to nothing (in a bad way), she does have some experience with medicines with the flowers she makes that she uses to create healing salves and antidotes. Sounds nice, right? Well part of the annoyance the team has with her is that while she does treat her comrades wounds, she also ends up healing monsters as much as she can, annoying the adventurers

As she wasted resources doing this, especially since several times the monsters come back to fight the adventurers again. Add this with your typical "useless baggage carrier" trope most adventurers seem to kick their party members out for, who can't defend herself and needs constant saving, and they kick her out. Again, they're not quite as dickish about it as they do generally care for her safety, but it doesn't come off as much when they do so angrily...

This makes things worse for Luna because her habits aren't unknown to many of the adventurers of the guild- almost everyone is aware of her weakness and her habits of healing humans and monsters alike, so much so to the point that she's practically shunned and is forced to leave the town on her own since no one will hire her (and she was an orphan so she doesn't exactly have anywhere to live after using up her severance pay that only lasted her a month).

NOW we get into a bit where originally comes from ^^.

at least from what I've seen. During her exploration through the woods as she attempts to reach another town (and mostly starving since she's several days in and running low on supplies), she comes across a line injured goblin that's struggling to crawl away due to an arrow in its leg. With her literal good nature (no pun intended) abilities and personality, she treats the goblins injury much to its surprise, before passing out from exhaustion and hunger as naturally she still drains a good chunk of energy whenever she uses her magic.

As opposed to whatever you think may occur (due to goblin slayer scarring me from a single clip and I've never forgotten since...), and where the story takes a unique spin on things, she wakes up in bed in an unknown village in the center of the forest- one run entirely by monsters and demis (demi being your typical human-monster hybrids like kitsunes and fox girls and such). Apparently the goblin was kind enough to help her out and bring her to an inn run by a minotaur woman, who promptly feeds her as well as shows her the numerous gifts she's been left with on a table. Apparently, much to her surprise, she's actually quite famous within the village- almost everyone in the village is aware of her due to her constantly healing both friend and foe alike in monster dungeons, with some regarding her as a hero since it allowed them to return to their homes and their families. After some introductions around town, she also learns that, surprisingly, the monster town also has its own version of an adventurers guild- apparently the monsters run their own type of quests and services, from the typical gathering ones that low ranks usually do, to quests where they're tasked with defending the town from human bandits, and even more insane ones (at least to her) where it turns out monsters who defend dungeons are actually guild monsters who do so for a quest. Apparently some of the places the humans have called "dungeons" are places of either worship or memorials of people the monsters considered heroes (which means a handful of quests for these dungeons have basically amounted to grave robbing from the monsters perspectives) which is why they usually defend them to maintain the honor of the fallen heroes (and later involving to prevent the resurrection of the Monster Lord- not to be confused with the demon lord but that's an entire topic for another time...) as well as protecting their loot. After some meetings here and there and seeing how the monsters are good (something of a belief she had since she always had a "no one is born evil" philosophy), she decides to do the best she can and makes an official decision- to join a band of monster heroes (and whoever they can recruit) and earn a living as an official Monster Adventurer~!!!

and prove how useful she can really be with your typical "adventurers who kicked her out realizing and regretting her contributions to the team after kicking her out~"

And that about sums up the first of many ideas ^^ again idk if I should post it here or if there is some sort of "idea section " on the forums here, but for the time being I hope you guys found the idea interesting ^^. And for those who would be interested in partnering up and making mangas for ideas like these be sure to let me know ^^ (and before you ask no I wouldn't be able to pay you- if we did make a manga and posted online on those webtoon sites and whatnot where we could make money, I'd gladly split the profits evenly (heck I might even lean more your way since I'm more interested in inspiring people than the profit ^^), but for the time being I wouldn't be able to pay directly so sorry).

Anyway be sure to leave your thoughts and if this did interest you, I'll be sure to leave more ideas Ive had swimming around~

Probably the writing club is the best place to share these! or make your own blog so that people who are interested can follow whenever you post something new

Soooo looked around but sadly not really seeing anything "club" related (unless it's somewhere else on this site? Feel free to link if you want ^^) but writing area might still be better to post here. At the same time I do prefer having chats about the ideas I come up with and I think this chat forum is more active (writing forum kinda scares me cause second out of four pages alone has posts that date back to 5 years prior from the last update) so I might stick around if it's ok on this forum, I mean heck it got moderator approved so it might be? But all the same will keep the forum saved under a file to repost somewhere else if needed so no hassle ^^

Thanks again for the heads up. Anything you want to chat about with the above story idea or wondering about any others I have :P? Throw me some genres and/or storyline tropes (like reincarnated, return to the past, "adopted by seemingly-evil parent", etc.) you know of out there and I'll likely have it somewhere in my literal memory bank ^^

Sorry for the spam,  part of the autism thing, but also following question, wondering if I should post my posts on both writing club and chitchat :o? I'm not against the club or anything, just that it only has a handful of members and do want to legit chat about it wherever I can ^^ it alright to post on both ends? And before you worry no I don't plan on making dozens of new topics for each single idea I have (God that would be more of a headache to track...) everything would just be in this topic and the writing one XP

Ideally we want to keep things clean and organised, so a single post per topic is preferred!

Oh it's not like I'd write the same thing differently from one another, just that idk copy and paste it to each page. If there was a tag section or something It'd be easier to share the point across- though with that said, I can just post on chitchat and mention the update on the writers club I guess ^^ (also just found the edit button so no worries about multiple posts now, I can just add to the single post instead of like 4 responses XP)

So ladies and gents, time for my third (second? Need to keep better track cause I'm sending these on two sites and the other has more so gets hard to tell what has how much XP) story summary for another manga/anime I've come up with and this one is in the more recent weeks! As usual, the following is copy and pasted from what I messaged to my friend!

This time around is a short (summary wise as it's one of the more recent ones I came up with, the story itself however will be a decent good average anime size, as in at least several seasons for a minimum), we come with a quirky comedy action and adventure story which I've already dubbed "Isekai Explosion!" (I am up for alt titles too but you'll see why I came up with such a title later).
Taking place in your typical magical world, with your typical cliche start of a story, the world is at war with the demon kings forces who controls half the planet, waging war against humanity for reasons unknown from the start. With the human territory losing ground little by little, the greatest scholars and sorcerers turned to the divine magic of the goddess itself, who taught humanity the art of summoning heroes from another world. With the goddess herself aiding them, help seemed inevitable
that it would appear in no time! As a goddess, she also had the power to bless whatever hero.with whatever OP power one would typically receive upon arrival to a new world, which would turn the tide of war in their favor.
However, in the midst of drawing the runes and magic circles of the ritual, already kicking off the humor of our story, one of the sorcerers accidentally tripped and unknowingly smeared a portion of the rune circle as preparations were being made, and went without notice until it was too late.
As the ritual begins, everything seemed to be going well at first, but within the first minute alone, the very world began to shake violently as a tear began to form in the sky. Baffled and perplexed, the goddess soon came to realize the major problem with the rune circle but it was already too late.
The good news is- the ritual worked as intended and it definitely brought the hero... The bad news is, due to the misalignment now, the spell worked a little "too well"...

As opposed to the glorious hero that would've appeared before them, the spell accidentally overcharged, not just sending one, or two heroes to them, but within the estimated range between 5 to TEN THOUSAND RANDOM INDIVIDUALS AT ONCE WHO WERE NOW FALLING FROM THE SKY!!!
Mass panic began to ensure, not just from the humans and those who were just isekai'd, but the demon kings forces as well with the headhancho himself having a panic attack thinking he pissed off the goddess or something to send off this many heroes at once XD.
Luckily, with her magic, the goddess manages to avoid any untimely splats across the kingdom and people managed with land within the capital alive and well, though incredibly confused and panicking all the same. Unluckily, this came with an unfortunate reality as well: as the goddess, it was required by LAW, that she had to give each and every hero a special power. Not just that, but they all had to be different from one another, even if some worked similarly.

que in massive panic attack of the goddess hastily scribbling document after document of each and every person and what their power would be, frantically scribbling and sweating as she had to come up with a different power for each individual, even getting lazy after awhile and just deciding to give people a power based on their name after the first several thousand individuals (the anime/manga plays with a lot of tropes like this). While some were gifted with your typical overpowered abilities, some weren't as fortunate as later down the line the powers kept seemingly getting worse and worse as the goddess ran out of more ideas (forgot, the ritual actually does summon 5,000 at first, but later down the series someone summons another 5,000 due to a conspiracy).
After nearly a week of rounding up every new individual, and the goddess practically being in a coma (or wishing she was XD) from exhaustion, the king goes about explaining why they are here and their destiny to defeat the evil demon king!!!

.. A celebration that lasts all of two minutes because, no sooner did everyone, and the main character Locke, resolve to complete their mission, a messenger comes bursting through the door with some terrible news... The Demon king suffered a fatal heart attack out of fear and died after he discovered how many heroes were summoned XD as funny as this is, it also presents a massive problem because as part of the ritual and contracts the goddess made, they could only return home if they chose to once the demon king was defeated, but since he died on his own and, far as it seems for now, didn't sire any offspring (sire = have), there's no one to take his place, effectively trapping everyone summoned this way in this world XP.
We then jump skip to a few months later at a place known as Magia Academy where our main character starts off as it's been some time since the event which became known as the Great Sundering occurred.

The academy was established as a place to teach the young heroes about the world, provide legit education for those who were kids still in school despite being your typical medieval magic society like most magic animes, provide a proper housing for those who stuck around the Capitol, and finally, teach the students how to use their powers effectively... and as of now, the academy barely has a couple hundred people who set off as various individuals already decided to set off on their own anyway. Since the demon king was already dead, the kingdom decided to entrust the help of heroes and spread them across the world, letting them go about their way to help whoever they wanted and so forth. Naturally, there is a ranking system for the heroes too, based on their strength as well as their power, going all the way from S*, all the way down to E-.
Needless to say, that's the rank of our main character XP with a name like Locke you'd think he was given the lazy ability to unlock anything, right?

Well unfortunately for him he couldn't even get a power that sounded cool like that because, as stated, the goddess can't give anyone the exact same power even if she wanted to. So, what is his "COSMICALLY OVERPOWERED ABILITY THAT SHAKES THE VERY FOUNDATIONS OF THE WORLD?!?!?!".... He was given the seemingly horrendous power of "Opening and closing things"... Feel free to start pitying him XP
Also needless to say, the lower the rank the more you're looked down on, somethings he's grown accustomed to both in his previous life and new life. The only times he even gets to "help" anyone is when a student asks for help opening their locker or if their lunchbox is stuck. I can legit say I picked the seemingly worst ability for this guy for an isekai XD
Of course of course, it doesn't end up that way for long. A few days later he comes across several bullies harassing some other students picking on low ranks at rank D while they're at B-. And of course it's the ones who he tried to fight before and lost.

Despite knowing he has the worst ability ever, he still can't shake his feelings of responsibilities and tries to fight them off again, still regretting it as the B- heroes have the ability to create sparks, breathe gas, and lock on, which the three use in unison to combine their ability into a more effective power.
It's during this brutal mailing (at least from Locke's POV XD), he suddenly comes up with the realization of how their powers are working; despite the physical limitations of each of their powers, it all comes down to the limitations of their mind and how they use it. To put his point to the test, he discovers he can use his power in various ways throughout the fight, such as "closing the gap between him and his enemies" (which practically looks like teleporting or superspeed to them), "closing the gap of whatever he's against", letting him stick to wall surfaces and practically run on them, albeit wobbly since he still needs practice, and even "opens" their explosive on them early.

All of this culminates to effectively defeating the bullies and making it the first time he's helped someone and succeeded at it.

Honestly, he's actually thankful to the bullies cause he never would've learned about how to expand the use of his power if it wasn't for them.

As can be expected, he's immediately met with surprised looks and praise over his victory with many of the students baffled at how he took down 3 B- heroes all on his own.

So much so that he's even offered a promotion to a higher class a level at the academy, which comes with increased perks and privileges compared to his previous living quarters for low ranks.

However, with his new revelation, as opposed to stocking around, he decides to leave the academy. Being considered a "letdown" through most of his life, and knowing what it's like to be mocked for having so little "skill", he decides to go on a personal journey throughout the world, 1, to get stronger, 2, have an adventure like he's wanted to since coming here (just never brave enough since his ability seemed so useless), and 3, he wants to recruit other low ranks like him to help train them and bring out the best of their abilities so they're not looked down upon like he was by those around him. Naturally he meets a whole slew of new allies and friends from a Useless girl (useless being the "title" given to weak powered isekai'd people like him) who can control grass, a Useless who's only ability is to see smells, a character who can restart the day if they die (although they were warned it only works once a day), an ally who actually is a near S-rank power but is afraid of their ability because it's too destructive, and hundreds of others they meet along the journey as they travel the world. Obviously not everyone joins them, but a few here and there tag along after he helps them bring out the best in their powers.

Along with this he'll also be dealing with the fallout of "heroes" across the world as, naturally, with so many people gaining OP abilities, many have abused them and started making trouble instead, making some kingdoms fear heroes entirely.

This includes an entire cast of villains who are S+ to S* quality of heroes who decides to take over the demon lords job out of "sheer boredom", from your natural OP hero who can create explosions on a whim, as well as a rival who turns out to be the kid who got Locke's intended locking ability in the first place XP.

Along with this Locke will also come across a strange conspiracy surrounding the heroes and the demon king that slowly unfolds throughout the first several seasons (seasons usually being like 12 or so else of course) and the possibility that the demon king may not have died after all..

Thus ensues your typical storylines of adventures, some laughs, as well as playing heavily with the overall themes and ideals that everyone has a purpose or talent in their life that they can use to their benefit. Everyone's good at something, it's just a matter of finding the right use for it (and if you're like me this sort of thing hits home hard, hence the inspiration).

.

.

.

Idk if it will since it seems to be on my end but if it posts the way I see it, idk why over half the post has a green highlighted background and the other half doesn't, it just came out that way.

Anyway hope you guys enjoyed the brief summary, leave your thoughts below if you found it interesting ^^ And again, these were copy and posted from the messages I sent so if it's wonky, sounds direct, or whatever, now you know why.

So it's been a good while since I posted anything new on here (least felt like it to me...) so I figured what better way to continue these discussions than by providing another story summary for a potential anime/manga ^^! This time straight from the mouth, or phone in this case- I'll provide you guys with the story here and now, not something I've copied and pasted from messages. And what better story to start than with my own demon-based OP hero manga, "How to Be a Demon Lord"!

To start with... Well.... Actually how to start with explaining is a bit tricky to do because a lot of the opening stuff will take place in flashbacks and whatnot to show how the current hero, currently a demon lord, came to be, and how he actually went from an ordinary human to a demon lord.

With our main hero, Damon, the flashbacks begin about (and these names are always subject to change) showing his days a year or two beforehand at the temples many academies. The world is at a constant state of war with the demons of the world, from your typical monster ones to the humanoid ones who walk and talk just like we do. But despite this, demons are looked down upon as the instigators of the war between the two races and are usually subjected cruelly.  The Order of Heaven, the largest church of the kingdom that mostly runs the world, trains paladins and knights daily into combating these demons in order to bring about a whole world of peace and prosperity where humanity no longer needs to fear the demon races any longer, something they can never accomplish for as long as the Demon lords still remain, lords who control a portion of demon territory with powers that almost rival that of the archangels (titles given to high ranking paladins and knights of renown and might). And one of these academies is where we meet our stalwart knight in training Damon, who's determined, tough, tenacious, annnnnnd currently getting his butt kicked by several bullies of the academy.

As you might've expected, Damon iiiiis less than your average weak knight. So much so that he's considered one of the weakest knights in the academy, perhaps even throughout history of the last 30 years. Barely passing his marks as a squire even, if it wasn't for the fact one of his best (and only friends) in the academy is Zeke, another paladin in training with your typical "flying colors grades", he probably would've been removed from the academy ages ago. Despite all this, Damon's optimism and kind spirited nature is one of his greatest strengths, often wishing for peace between people, whether they're human or demons. It's one of the few reasons Zeke is even friends with him as he does admire his determination despite his useless strengths, though he's not as keen as being nice to fellow demons after a demon left his younger sister with a deadly demon-based illness she's been growing up with for the last five years of the six years of her life.

After failing his knightly exam for what is likely the eighth time in a row at this point, one of the bullies mocks him and taunt him saying that the only way he'd get to be a paladin at this rate is if he got a ring from one of the demon lords themselves, something they say jokingly unaware of the keen interest this gives Damon. Determined to pass his exams, and assuming they were being legitimate, he embarks on a small journey across the kingdom, doing what little uselessness he can to train, until he reaches the domain of the Demon Lord that occupies this- a young teenage girl who looks no older than him.

Enter Euzelza, daughter of the former demon lord of the castle and enthusiastic hero slayer of the region she occupies. All her life she spent growing up in the castle hearing stories from her butlers and maids  wondrous tales (well from the human's perspective anyway...) about how knights and demons fought endlessly back and forth, and how demons were recognized for their strength constantly for beating the strongest humans out there- naturally, she waited all her life for the chance to meet a real life hero and fight him with all her might, permitting him to enter and refusing to let a single guard or soldier stop him as he makes his way to the throne room. And it's there that their climactic battle FOR THE FATE OF THE UNIVERSAL COMMENCES!!!... All of which lasts for two seconds because of an accidental sneeze Euza let's out that blasts Damon into the walls from the mere force of it, giving her an unfortunate idea of how pathetically weak the hero is...

Come to a few days later (after waking up and several more attempts to have a climactic battle that ends too early), she berates the "idiot hero" for being this weak and coming to attack her, to which Damon corrects her on it- he had no intention of fighting her in the first place, he just figured he could ask to borrow the ring and bring it back after he passes his seeming "trial" to become a paladin, leaving Euza disappointed that she won't or can't even get a worthy challenge after all this time XP

From there, events begin to play out, some as you can expect, others that leave heart wrenching revelations, as Damon's life begins to turn upside down from the very moment he met the young girl no older than him, and what would inevitably lead down a path to becoming a Demon Lord himself, with an adventure that covers all your OP demon lord tropes like "Isekai slime" and "Overlord" the anime itself, from town wide battles to spells of unimaginable proportions, all of which is under the banner of a new war Damon has against the very church he once fought for~

There is obviously more to it than that, and trust me it's fleshed out enough to spark more interest, but let me know what you guys think. If this does interest you lemme know and I'll expand more of the backstory here ^^ The role is to reach levels like Isekai slime and such animes in terms of action, with a bit of gripping narrative as well as your typical moral dilemmas between religion and prejudice and whatnot. But yeah for now, what cha guys think and do you want to hear more of the events leading up to the present ^^
