I've watched anime from many different genres over the years, and one question always comes to mind: what makes an anime stay with us long after we've finished watching it?

Some people say it's an emotional story that creates a strong connection with the characters. Others believe that incredible animation, unforgettable fight scenes, or a unique soundtrack make all the difference. There are also anime series that start slowly but become masterpieces because of their character development and world-building.

Personally, I think the best anime combines several elements. A compelling plot, relatable characters, meaningful growth, and memorable moments all contribute to a series that fans continue to recommend for years. Whether it's an action-packed adventure, a psychological thriller, a heartwarming slice-of-life story, or a fantasy epic, every fan seems to have a different reason for calling a series their favorite.

Ghibli anime makes some of the best stories with some of the best animation.
