Disney for example, which counts as anime if for no other reason than Kingdom Hearts. Nobody really likes or cares about the princes. Jasmine could replace Eric in the Little mermaid with very few alterations to the story. Anna and Elsa are supposed to be sisters, yet everyone ships them and barely remembers Anna's guy's name. (Those who need to justify, can remember they are both actors in a movie and cartoon characters). Though in anime being siblings has never been a barrier for a barrier for even an official relationship. Look at Tenchi, he was related to all of the girls he married. With Disney Violet and Helen Parr are a popular could, the Madrigal sisters. the mom and Princess from Brave. And of course all the princesses ditched the men and moved into a big pink castle together. Then there's how Barbie dolls always seem to end up naked in a bucket.
