Thread previews with images

Hello everyone,

 

Experimenting with a new feature!

 

When browsing the forum sections, a snippet preview of the first post will now appear just below the thread title. Previously you had to hover individually, on each thread title to get the preview.

 

Also thumbnails of recently uploaded images within the thread will also display under the snippet.

 

Would love to know your feedback, whether you like it better this way or if you prefer to go back to the previous way of having thread titles. Let me know below, thanks!

It's pretty cool I must say, the text snippet gives you a bit of information as to what the thread's about, and the images are like sweets being offered from the window of that man's white van (sorry, I can be random sometimes), they can pique your interest in the thread further, enticing you to click on the thread!

I would definitely prefer to go back to the previous way. I can usually tell by the thread title if I want to read it or not. The way it is now looks cluttered and tacky.

Similar to how you can switch from the current forum format, to the old forum format, can the same not be done with this?

 

Just a thought, if some people are against it, and others for!
