Motorcycle Enthusiasts?

Anybody else ride motorcycles here? I just picked it up last October taking a MSF course and I love it.

I've had previous motorcycle experience on dirtbikes, but I decided to get something cheap to start out for a few months and am looking to upgrade really soon.

Currently I ride a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. It's a pretty fun starter bike, it does the job.

If you don't ride yet, is there a reason you don't? Safety, visibility, no skills, money?

My dad is a motorcycle nut. I thought they were super cool, myself, until at one point while taking me out for a ride when I was still a kid, we ended up running into unexpectedly ridiculous high winds. This wasn't a big deal for him, so he quickly adjusted for it, riding in the same manner as the image below:

 

 

While this was all routine for him, I found the whole thing to be so utterly terrifying at that time, that I never, ever, went on another ride at any point afterwards.

Lmao, awe! Glad you're okay though! My bike does horrible in high wind scenarios cause it's so light and my state's known for being windy a lot of the time. But oh well.

Maybe next time tell him you'll only go on days less than 5 mph winds.
