eho434
Having Halo LAN parties was great fun. Then it evolved into something greater with Red vs Blue by Roosterteeth
efaardvark
WoW was also good for machinima. I loved "Spiff's" music videos of some of Jonathan Coulton's stuff like Re: Your brains or I Feel Fantastic or especially Code Monkey.
eho434
Aw man. Code Monkey brings back some memories (Fooly Cooly for some odd reason specifically). I never played WoW, but I played a lot of Warcraft. Kind of want to play it now but I don't have it downloaded, haha
Geano
Oh hell yes I do remember those days. They aren't gone entirely, or at least the art michinima is not dead. I havee seen plenty of people doing it with Minecraft these days. Though it is certainly far more of a nich interest rather than a standard as it once was. Moved to Gaming. efaardvark
The art seems to be alive and well with newer games as well. My favorite line, "Some of those holes must be the guys that went before us." That's so Kerbal!
