  1. I've been working my way through the new version of Ranma and I noticed something odd. In one scene, several characters call Mousse near-sighted. The problem is, he isn't. Near-sightedness means you have good eyesight for things close to you, but weak eyesight for things at a distance. Mousse has terrible eyesight at close range. I'm not sure if he's much better at long range either.
  2. Shounen isn't aimed at girls. Doesn't mean they can't watch it or won't enjoy it. They just aren't the target audience.
  3. The only way I could access it is buy it on HIDIVE which I'd need to access through Prime. I'm not too fond of that option.
  4. I bought the first 3 volumes of the manga while I was on a vacation in Japan many years ago. I read them twice on the plane trip home. I then proceeded to watch all of the anime - excellent stuff for the most part. It is a series that is a bit better as an anime as you can more clearly see what is going on in the action scenes.
  5. Different culture I suppose. I've no idea where the whole idea of biting your finger to draw blood came from. The first time I saw it was in Naruto. But seriously, unless you sharpen your teeth it's more likely you'll seriously mess up a finger in order to draw blood that way. The other thing I occasionally see are high school kids who are living on their own because they are either attending a distant school or their family are working elsewhere. I don't know how common that is in Japan, but where I live it would be grounds to call the authorities.
  6. This maybe? https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_590 It didn't have Bleach in it though.
  7. I'm not sure I'd classify it as a harem type anime. Only two girls seems to be overly interested in the MC and he's got very mixed feelings about hooking up with any of them.
  8. I was wondering about that since I like the manga and hadn't realised they'd made an anime of it. Wikipedia indicated it shouldn't be on Crunchyroll so I was surprised when I found it there.
  9. Huh, they are doing a new season of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. That was a really odd show but I enjoyed it. Also, I wish Crunchyroll would allow putting announced shows on your watchlist. As it is I have to keep checking new shows until they actually have videos so I can put them on my watchlist.
  10. Just about every anime has a target audience. Besides, the question is about anime that include LGBTQIA+ characters, not anime that focuses on it.
  11. Easy - Cardcaptor Sakura. Still a classic even after all of these years.
  12. Maybe Cardcaptor Sakura (the original, not the dubbed atrocity) and Paniponi Dash.
  13. I watched the first episode - it made me wonder if I was somehow watching the start of season 2. No real lead up, just leaping into the middle.
  14. I rewatch Cardcaptor Sakura every so often. Still a classic.
