  1. Hi guys I have been looking around the site, and I did not find a topic about this so I thought why not. I have always been into building my own pc, and doing mods to consoles as well as my other devices. I am also a programmer, and graphic/web artist. I want to know what do all of you like doing on the computer, and what keeps you doing it.

  2. Hellp there Decimo welcome to the forum. VNs are awesome I have been getting into them a lot lately myself. I am still sorta newish to them to, but learning fast. I'd love to chat about that as well as what anime, and manga you really like. See you around.

  3. I would say yes anime has made me who I am. While gaming has played a big part too anime has been there from the start thereby influencing me far more during my formative years. For example I got into gaming from learning about the smt series, and Mario bros which of course all hail from Japan. Since then my desire to comsume both anime, and games has led me to learn more about technology which is another passion of mine. Most anime is viewed via the internet nowa days in one form or another. So having a strong kowledge of the internet is very important, and is something anime consistently reinforces for me.

  4. Universal without question. I have been to both. While Disney dose have a lot of cool things going for it its just not for me. Ebcot is awesome, but the other parks did not interest me to much. Now that of course is Walt Disney World which is in Orlando FL. I have never been to Disneyland which is CA near LA. Though as much of a Disney fan as I am, and I am not kidding I love most of the movies along with their tv series counterparts. I still have to say Universal is a better park overall especially for someone newer to theme parks, or amusement parks. To me it just felt more welcoming, and far less of a neesh thing. Where's Walt Disney World felt more like if you did not understand how everything worked you did not belong there. Though that might have been the person I went with at the time.

  5. I love Clanned too. I watched the anime when it came out, and was hooked. I have not finished the VNs for it, but hhay this may just have inspired me to

  6. I used to drink a lot yes. I learned early on that beer with a few exceptions now, and then is not for me. I drink once, or twice a month these days. The past few days it has been a little more because I saw something at the store I wanted to try for a while, and finally went for it. My fav is tequila, but rum as well as whiskey is good too.

  7. Well if my avatar didn't give it away this is my favorite VN of all time. Though I would also categorize it under dating sim given its interactivity compared to most VNs out there. I certainly suggest it to all, and not just because I am a fan. It is a really easy story to get into at the same time it is deep in terms of character development.

I just realized I skipped this so I'll do this now lol

    Name: Decimo

    Age: 19

Favorite VN: The Majikoi series and I guess if I had to pick which one specifically then probably Majikoi S

Random Fact: I read VNs and LNs more than I actually watch anime as well (I actually own a kindle since digital copies are like half the price of physical copies!!!)

How did I get into them: My friend was using teamviewer to help me out with some issues and decided to download a few VNs and told me to play them. (I actually played Danganronpa and S;G before this, but this was before I saw Visual Novels as their own thing instead of just games.)

I've already been conversing on the other threads, but nice to meet you guys.

Also heyo Archie, I noticed you joined recently too.

Welcome to the club, and as far as reading/playing VNs more then watching anime goes I feel like I have been in the same boat. Even more so since finding this site, andthis club. Hope you have a great time here.

I like both anime and manga. Often, when I watch an anime I'll check the manga too. A lot of content in the manga doesn't get included in the anime, for one reason or another. And of course, there are the Light Novels but I have yet to read one. They say there's also content in Light Novels that do not show up on the anime or manga.

Yah manga is of course the original source material in most cases with a few exceptions of course. I do find it interesting when I am first getting iinto a series to note the main differences between the anime, and manga which tend to be quite stark.

Welcome to the forums @ArchieKun. Which Tales is your favorite game? I once would have said Tales of Symphonia (I personally loved tormenting my crew with Raines cooking ^_^ Left her as the cook the whole time) but Tales of Graces captured my heart all over again. I actually have some Tales statu

es of my favorite characters. Great series.

I am big on gaming and RPGs if you ever want to chat ;)

    Thank you for the welcome

I would say Tales of graces is my favorite in terms of story, but I also really like Tales of Zesteria, and Berzeria as well.

  11. I am who I am no matter the situation. I am a bit shy at first in person, and not exactly going to give you my full life story until I trust you. With that said I am fully honest with what I do tell you upfront without question. I do think however to a point we all are guilty of showing off per say in other words saying we more then we really are to seem cool. This is just something we all do at one point or another in our lives. Though at this point in my life I am of the belief honesty is the best policy.

  12. Alright I must be honest I am not big on dubbed anime, but there is one big exception, and for me that is DBZ. I grew up with this series it is one of my childhood treasures to this day. Ialso often watched Sailor Moon, and Pokemon a lot as a child. I admit I watched the DIC, and 4kids dubs for these respective series back then. I will give the first season of Pokemon some props, but SM compared to its Japanese release was horrible. Since then I have more, or less grew up to release subbed is the way to go for all of these series along with are better subbed. With that said dbz even dubbed has a place in my heart even today. I can't fully explain it, but I do accept that.
