Oh Kaga! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. That is terrible. And Kage, that's also awful! My Dad has a regular old Hernia and it is really painful for him sometimes. Can they do anything for it? And The History Kid, Are there any underwater shots of torpedoes being fired? What about tech spec diagrams? Those always look fancy. I do love your cover slide, though I worry it may be overselling it if its all water and maps. As for me, I'm great. I'm ignoring all of my responsibilities and enjoying it immensely. I'm going to the Manga Exhibit at the British Museum this afternoon.

I agree with Ohiotaku; anime is really specific. But, there are some classics that while they may not have universal appeal (indeed I think they are not universally appealing) they are seminal. Lots have been mentioned already (Studio Ghibli's films). For example, Akira and Vampire Hunter D were really important films for their time (but they don't have universal appeal)

Hmmm... That is tough... I like anything with a bit of fantasy or the supernatural, and I like stuff that is just plain old bonkers.

That is amazing!!! I love everything CLAMP does even when it's not very good. Also, you just listed some of my favorite anime (especially Mushishi) Though, I have never watched Beautiful Bones. I am going to have to add that to my list.

Hello all! I'm Endynyp or Endy for short. I'm on another forum site that I really like, but I thought, if I like one, why not two? :P I love anime, video games, books, mixology, and everything even remotely geek-tastic. My favorite anime is xxxHolic, and my favorite character in that anime is Yuuko Ichihara (followed by Mokona). I'm mostly just looking to chit chat and make more friends.
