6.8 Just high enough for a recommendation. I saw some of it a few years back and got around to restarting it, and finished it at the beginning of the year.
The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya

8/10 Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works is better IMO
91 Days
Oh! I saw that one. 8.2 for the melancholy and moral. I haven't seen ACCA though.

I've actually watched the first epsode of Gamers! because it kept showing up and I couldn't help but be curious!
As per usual, I went into this series blind. It's a nice change of pace to have an anime where people just play a game and not have to fight for survival. Not to mention this isn't about a RPG. I think that Karen is pretty friendly, but for now I'd say Amano is my favorite character since we don't see a lot of shy male characters in anime. I'm also intrigued to learn what the deal with his social game friend is.
Some of the comments they put on screen were obnoxious, but hopefully those don't become commonplace. There wasn't a lot of gameplay and they neglected to show the FPS matches and that was a bit of a letdown. It doesn't seem like there'll be too much fanservice (you wish) either.
I predict that this will be a 6.5 out of 10 series, I will consider continuing this if not many better anime pop up.

Excuse me, zin, I'm not currently into korean music but I would like to give it a try. So if it wouldn't be too much trouble can you give me some recommendations? The songs I like so far from this thread are

Nagi No Asukara is a great title. It's primarily a romance title, but has elements of fantasy.

"Nothing I say comes out right
I can't love without a fight
No one ever knows my name
When I pray for sun, it rains
I'm so sick of wasting time
But nothing's moving in my mind
Inspiration can't be found
I get up and fall but...
I'm ALIVE!
I'm ALIVE! Oh, yeah
Between the good and bad's where you'll find me
Reaching for heaven
I will fight
And I sleep when I die
I live, My life, I'm ALIVE!" - I'm Alive, BECCA

The rules in this anime are broken.
In games, each player will bet something that they agree is of equal value.
But you can be completely vague about what you want, fail to mention what you want altogether AND THEN decide on what you want later. And my personal favorite, actually say what you want, but your definition of a word is different from the actual meaning of the word so you get to exploit that as well. (e.g When Shiro tells Steph to be her and Sora's dog for the day yet day for them means whenever they go to sleep)

The anime I've completed recently are:
Mob Psycho 100
Oreimo,
Love Live Sunshine
I'm able to cycle through my anime every 4 days now, but still so little...I guess I can't expect to see results so soon. Hopefully I can complete lots of series within the following month, we'll see how it goes.
Yup. Sakura Trick has quite a bit of fanservice, but it was something that I too already expected before starting the series. Surprisingly enough, it also contained a decent amount of character development admits all of it and also had something meaningful to say about bisexual love, which caught me off-guard.I'd love to hear your thoughts on Kiznaiver! After all, I love talking about anime. Especially the ones I'm very fond of
Hmm...that sounds concerning, well I'll check Sakura Trick out and see for myself. But I'm afraid I don't really plan to start that one anytime soon, I'm very sorry, maybe I shouldn't have brought it up...

Sakurai Trick is average to good depending on how much you like your yuri. Personally, I quite liked it for the innocent yet compelling relationship between the main leads.
The Monogatari Series is always solid. It has a wonderfully composed OST(original sound track) and well thought-out characters. However, the presentation of the story may or may not be your type; so you'll have to give it a shot yourself to find out.
Kiznaiver is just beautiful to look at. It can/ is supposed to get very melodramatic at times but some people don't like it for that reason. I loved the series and rated it highly, so I definitely recommend you check it out if you don't mind the drama.
I wanted this to be my first yuri series, but that honor goes to Bloom Into You. I was a bit concerned that this might have a lot of fan service in it, so I guess I should of asked that instead...but I was sleepy...
-------
I'm sure I'll like it. If it's even somewhat serious then it's something I can enjoy.
-------
No, I don't mind drama, in fact I love drama. I look forward to watching Kiznaiver once I have a open slot, I hope you'll let me share my thoughts with you when I do.

Hello GreenEyes, maybe you can help me. There's a title I've been thinking about for a while now and I'd greatly appreciate your help.
It was a magical girl anime where these two girls meet and become...well, magical girls, but it's revealed that met at a festival when they were kids. I believe one had brown hair, while the other had blue hair, but I don't know and I could be wrong about both of their hair colors.

The OP for Elsword: El Lady is pretty epic, but the anime doesn't seem to be going anywhere, so it's not well-known.
Hey, I've heard of that anime. Was thinking about getting into it...are you saying it's no good?

Good song by the way.

Does she count as psychotic? I just can't see it...
I choose umm Yuno Gasai she takes psychotic to a new level..
Future Diary
Maybe psychotic is a bit much, but she likes her "fallen angel" alter ego and usually breaks out into it, where she is convinced that she is angel cast out from heaven and claims to have "little demon" that follow her. This is initially to her dismay. She likes to wear occult clothing and preform black magic and can often be seen attempting to cast a curse.
Perhaps it would more fitting to call her crazy as, despite all this, she is actually harmless.

There is some truth to that, but there's also a stronger counterargument against it than you might think. In several forms of media translated from Japanese to English, we're supposed to still be under the impression that they are speaking Japanese to one another. Take Persona 5 for example, where the character Ann Takamaki often reads translated letters and the like to the rest of the group because she has the best English. Obviously, they are speaking English to us the whole time if we're playing a dubbed version of the game, but because Ann has several moments where she's either translating something or someone points out her English skills, you get the illusion that they are speaking Japanese to one another, even though you can understand them perfectly.
In a case where it's clear when they're truly speak english and the dialogue's not just being translated for us, I suppose it's alright.
Conversely, a scene where characters are speaking English rarely and it confuses the Japanese people who are hearing it even though we hear English, reminds us briefly that they don't speak the language,When they just randomly say a english word in the original version, you mean? Yeah, I was wondering about that. There might be a few english words that are popular in japan, but I don't think most japanese people know english well enough so as to understand a entire sentence spoken in english, which is clear when the characters try to say a sentence and end up adding syllables, this is also clear when one is saying a foreign name, and there are times when they say the words right but their grammer is just terrible.
In short, it doesn't make sense to do this if it's just going to cause confusion. It's especially strange to hear english in a sub when you're watching a show aimed at children.
and oddly enough, in settings where English would be spoken by the people in whatever show their in, those scenes of English should don't confuse the character speaking Japanese. It's an odd conundrum that Japan would make shows that clearly should have English speaking people, or at least not Japanese speaking people, speak Japanese, and therefore are not confused by English, but they also have scenes where English is spoken by all the characters in a dub, and the confusion is there, but can be felt and understood. Back in the early days of plays, only men were ever hired to play roles, but of course females were written into scripts and actors at best had to learn how to sound like women. In today's anime, we have a variation of that, that favors the type of single scene where English is spoken but not understood to others speaking it. We can pretend for that moment even though we hear English from the Japanese characters, they don't actually speak it, because we've without a doubt had to pretend for far worse things. You can't really pretend that everyone is speaking English when well known Japanese lines are being spoken constantly without a enough reminders that we are supposed to pretend that everyone is speaking the language they should be and Japan can be notoriously bad at that.RepentantSky-senpai, not to be rude, but can you please add spaces within your paragraphs? It can be hard to read through a long post when you don't. Also a lot of what you said seems to have little to do with what I was talking about, I apologize, this is probably my own fault for not going into depth about what I meant.
So let me try again, there are a few anime where english is spoken commonly. A example of this is Ichigo Mashimaro, where one is the characters (Ana) is from the United Kingdom but doesn't speak english. She initially tries to hide this fact while learning it again and the other characters also try to speak english because of this. So with a anime like that I think it would make for a poor dub where a lot is lost in translation.

Right now I'm watching a total of 15 anime, Which is the smallest it has been in a long time. I was hoping to narrow it down to 10, but I'm kind of getting weary of watching episodes of the same anime within close proximity of one another. What should I do?
Anyways, the shows I'm watching right now are:
Sailor Moon
Log Horizon, after being stalled for a while
Hataraku Maou-sama!
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's
Fate/Stay Night
InuYasha
Boku No Hero Academia season 2
Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
Love Live: School Idol Project season 2
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders
Hunter x Hunter
Kill La Kill
Persona 4: The Animation

Another thing with the original audio track, is when characters speak english from time to time, or even in just one scene. But in the english dub, that would make no sense since they're already speaking english.
-
Love Live! School Idol Project: the story of trying to save their school from closing was rather touching and full of energy. The later title Love Live! Sunshine! though I didn't like much at all - as it was shadowing the original characters way too much
But Optic-senpai, didn't you think the relationship between Chika and Riko was sweet?
I heard rather great disappointment was noted for the English dub of Love Live.Meh, some people just can't be satisfied -____-
I think with music anime in general, people might find it weird to go between the english and japanese voice for when characters are singing.

Right now I'm obssesed with
. I'm back to watching that show, so I'll be hearing this song a whole lot. Before that it was Selector Infected WIXOSS OP 1, actually I'm still obsessed with it. The beginning sounds like a Sonic Unleashed song, doesn't anyone think so?

:9 I have the first volume of QQSweeper! Loved it
That's good to hear! So you know where I'm coming from, right?
Sorry that I'm not able to give you my opinion regarding your Blue Exorcist idea, as I have yet to read that series. Should I do that right away?

Look, I wasn't trying to say it was a terrible series, to me a 6.5 would still make something worth a watch. I was just expecting it to go down the usual anime route, if I were to give this anime the benefit of the doubt then I think it could be a 7.5, as there was some sweetness in the first episode.
It has pontential and a concept that hasn't been done that much.
