When she is proposed and chased after by the prince of her country, she runs away, only to meet Zen, the prince of a neighboring country. Finding respect for the young man, she decides to serve at his side as his court doctor. It looks like this series could be quite interesting as a Drama/Romance and Historical series. drill Posted June 16, 2015 Share Posted June 16, 2015 You know, after watching the trailer for this, it kinda reminds me of Akatsuki no Yona, maybe its the red hair... I'm not really sure. Yuuki_Radosian Posted July 7, 2015 Author Share Posted July 7, 2015 A great first episode , we meet our red haired heroine Shirayuki and our good prince Zen and we see them overcome a plot by the prince Raj who is only after collecting Shirayuki as a new toy in his harem. It should be interesting to see if that one other herbalist will make an appearance again, or if he was there just to introduce the possibility of becoming a court herbalist. I hope Shirayuki gets the court herbalist position and that we get to see that young herbalist again , I have a feeling that he may become somewhat of an ally to Shirayuki. It was pleasing to see Shirayuki find the cause for the illness among the soldiers at the fort so quickly and deal with it so well. It was hilarious seeing Raj flounder so much in front of Zen and his brother and I hope that Zen and Shirayuki see each other soon as it looks like she may confess soon (at least I am hoping she will). drill Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 This was a pretty good episode. Seems like Zen is a bit closer to being honest with his feelings as well. All thats really left is Shirayuki standing up to Zen's older brother again to convince him (although, I have a feeling he actually is already convinced). As well as her standing up to the common people who reject the idea of Zen marrying a commoner. I never knew Mitsuhide was that much older than Zen as well. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next episode and how they wrap up the whole status difference thing by the end of the arc. Yuuki_Radosian Posted September 22, 2015 Author Share Posted September 22, 2015 A good ending but so much left to be explored in the second season , which is good as it will keep people watching but also a little annoying for us because we have to wait until the next season starts before we can find out more or see anymore progress. Overall a good series , they have kept the series low key but not in a way which damaged the show. It is good to see Shirayuki showing some affection for Zen directly and not as a reaction to something that he has done , I hope that in the next season Shirayuki gets to be at least a little more bold. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was great to see that they actually pushed the romance between Shirayuki and Zen during the last few episodes, as I thought that might not happen until late second season.
