jessicajohnn
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an amazing anime with a strong story, great characters, and stunning visuals. I really enjoyed the emotional journey of David and how intense the action scenes were. The world of Night City feels alive and keeps you hooked from start to finish. I am a big Cyberpunk fan, and this series made me love the universe even more. I even tried a small cosplay and wore a david martinez jacket, which made me feel connected to the character. Overall, this show is a must-watch for anime and Cyberpunk fans, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

ScarlettMoore
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is still one of the most memorable anime for me, especially how it brings Night City and its characters to life. David’s look really stands out, and the Cyberpunk Edgerunners David Martinez Jacket is a big part of his design, giving it that bold and instantly recognizable style. ablackenedrose
I particularly appreciate the English dub's inclusion of in-universe slang into the dialogue - adds a nice extra level of authenticity and really makes it feel like Night City.
Ohayotaku
New series later this year apparently the same “universe”, but a standalone story with different characters

rikuyatakamine
The English dub really deserves more credit for that. Using the game’s slang naturally makes the conversations feel like they actually belong in Night City, rather than sounding like a standard anime dub with Cyberpunk visuals layered on top. I’m also glad the new series is apparently going with a standalone cast. David and Lucy’s story ended strongly enough that bringing them back would risk weakening it. A different crew could explore another side of Night City while still keeping the same themes of ambition, identity and how quickly the city consumes people. The original series has also held up surprisingly well through its collectibles. I was looking through some Cyberpunk: Edgerunners merchandise, and it reminded me how recognizable even the supporting character designs are. I’d especially like to see the new series introduce someone with the same immediate visual impact as Rebecca.
