Seeking help for forgotten anime title 🙏

Hello,

First off, thank you all who might help with my forgotten title problem. Gratitude to you.

I was about half or a little way more through watching a very engaging anime that my girlfriend had installed on a harddrive that one of our temporary roommates had broken; this was about 2 or 3 years ago; as is implicated, I forgot the title. My girlfriend has many more years of anime watching under her belt and she doesn't remember what I'm describing to her, and obviously now with Google and the internet having gone FUBAR lately; I need the help. I am a first time poster, please don't cast me down, if you have any kindness or sense. Please.

It was a sci-fi hero ensemble anime. The protagonists were a team of "robo-rollerskaters" with laser type hand operated firearms. The ensemble were tasked with dealing with a frighteningly fast growing planet consuming 'cancer'. There was like a massive electrical guillotine that constantly bared down on an arm of this massive cancer that was about the scale size of like a west/east side of a major metropolitan city, slamming away at it until it malfunctions somehow, and nigh doomed humanity was saved.

There was a particular girl on the squad who had given a particularly very well done captivating speech about the ethical contents of her decision making that the rest of the squad were questioning. It touched my soul, it was so good.

She had like medium-brown hair shoulder length hair, kinda choppy looking, and had a stylized upside down triangular smile whenever that part of her face/expression was expressing her contentment/happiness and I believe her pride in others as well.

That's about the extent of what I remember. I'd rep that anime like if it were my late grandfathers own 101st airborne paratroopers patch on my battle-vest; If that were true, note. I'd love it all the same. That's just an example; I really do love that anime about as much. It was kinda mind-blowing, this anime, no lie.

I would very much appreciate anyone who might know the title to just post it here for me.
