Clayton
I read about a 500 page novel a day. Takes about three or four to read the unabridged Count of Monte Cristo or Journey to the West. Does anyone else here regularly read actual books? Few if any pictures, please? What did you read when you were younger? Choose Your Own Adventure? Bunnicula? The Plant That Ate dirty Socks? Harry Potter? The Wishgiver? Do you only read books they made movies out of? Read any anime lightnovels?
DylanMax
500 pages a day? Respect. I’m more of a “read until my eyes bleed” kind of person, but I’m not hitting those numbers. Grew up on Harry Potter and Choose Your Own Adventure, still chasing that high. Anime light novels? Sure, but only if they’re as chaotic as the shows. Keep flexing those reading muscles! froggy
I typically read during school or before bed. I read light novels like Drrr! and manga like Gokurakugai in Japanese just to practice. But besides that I read chinese danmei, or BL like Heaven's Official Blessing or the husky and his white cat shizun.
Gale
I had a brief reading spree before classes started for me last semester. I finished the ACOTAR series, the Hunger Games series, and a few one-offs. I read through LoTR: Fellowship of the Ring, but I kept putting off Two Towers. I also read Assassin's Creed: Renaissance and Brotherhood--both which were really good. I've put off reading for the time being until I finish school. I suppose you can say that I've shifted the reading material for now--bahaha.
Colu
Lately I’ve been reading before bed, currently working on The Midnight Line by Lee Child (it’s a Jack Reacher novel)

Gale
My sister gave me her old Kindle, so I got a few books on it. One of them is Edge of Destiny by Robert King, set in the world of Guild Wars, which I’m currently reading.

Nico Robin Fan 95
I don't read books anymore, and it's also been many years since i read one. Nowadays, i don't need a book to read stories because for me personally, real books are a old thing from the past and also something that isn't relevant to me anymore in my opinion. Same with libraries which i also don't need anymore. but of course everyone who still likes to read books shall do that and still enjoy it. What i read in my childhood the most, were the first three Harry Potter books which i liked back then. But nowadays i don't like this franchise anymore, and i also wouldn't read the books now like i used to. I was also never really a big Harry Potter fan, but i rather just casually enjoyed it and only read it when i was bored. I also personally think the magic in Harry Potter is boring, but of course that's just how i think about this franchise nowadays. I myself rather enjoy it more to read stories online these days. But the only literature i read is fanfictions, which i find very exicting and still prefer them over books. Unless it's possible to read stories from books online as well, then i would actually read stories like these too. But since i mainly prefer to read stories from fans to various anime and american cartoons, i don't think i will ever read stories of a world famous book series again.
