As far as I know there isn't XP rate information that's confirmed yet, but my opinion is if they're going to release a skill like this into the game the XP should be easy to gain. We don't need another expensive buyable skill that can cost you 4 billion gp getting to 99 like construction, and we definitely don't need another draining skill like runecrafting that can take you 400 hours of game play time to max. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can't find anything I just sailed around on my raft until I ran into a shark that sank me :V Jase showed me how to recover my raft but all I've done is cargo runs and the xp is bad.
