Chinese anime

Definitely enjoyed White Snake (Bai She: Yuan Qi) & first season of Herbivorous Dragon (Shi Cao Lao Long Bei Guan Yi E Long Zhi Ming). I also watched a series called Frankenstein Family (Shiyan Pin Jiating), but don’t remember much about it.

I believe To Be Hero X is Chinese. I enjoyed what I've seen, but need to finish it. I’ve also heard good things about Lord of Mysteries (Guimi Zhi Zhu: Xiaochou Pian). Gonna try to find time to check it out before wrapping up the Summer 2025 season of anime.

There's a sequel to White snake.

I'm currently working on a book about Lady Green Snake

I actually watched Green Snake before watching White Snake without realizing it was a sequel.

I never thought I would watch Chinese anime, but in recent years they have been gaining popularity. I especially liked Link Click

Anime from all over the world is pretty goof. The French brought us Oban Star Racers. Korean manga is pretty good. Stitch the anime only aired in English in Australia. The Chinese have done some pretty amazing CGI and live action movies. Sometimes, like in a few Jet Li films, doing special effects as good as any anime. I'm sure we've all seen Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle. Kung Fu panda of course was based in China and Ranma went back and forth.

But I just wrote a book based on Bai Suzhen (Lady White Snake) and while I don't find the opera terribly riveting, there are aspects of the story I did enjoy. The original horror stories where the snakes ate people. Lady Blue Snake's long quest to rescue Lady White Snake from Fahai.
