Haha, this is a weird one

First off, Hi! this is a sweet little community 

So, i’m here for any recommendations and bless anyone with the patience and knowledge of helping me out, but, i’m a weird one! 

For liking anime so much, i’ve watched nearly none. Now, i keep up with a few but that’s really it. I could count the amount of anime’s i’ve watched on my hands 

Nonetheless, i’m here with 2 types of requests. 

1. I enjoy and keep up with Dragon Ball since i grew up with it and enjoy the characters. I’ve watched mainstream things like Naruto and Full metal alchemist and Deathnote, any suggestions for continuing that genre? 

2.) This is the weird one. So, if you’ve played Doki Doki literature club, it was probably for the horror, right? Well, that’s what i thought at least . I found myself enjoying it less as it got “weird” (you know what i mean if you’ve played it) The story with all the likable characters and drama and slight hints of romance kept me in a good mood and wanting more, yuri’s weird but shy and cute style, Sayoris silliness, you get it (also i nearly cried when Sayori yknow i related to her most and she was cute and so pure) 

Anyway staying on topic anything like that in the anime scene? Maybe a mixture of sorts? i’m unsure of what to call it it’s just not 1 single theme/genre haha

Well, thanks for reading this confusing mess! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! (even if it doesn’t fit the description and you’d think i’d like it, go ahead and suggest it anyway. I keep getting told to watch things like Fairy Tale and Highschool DXD etc random things and i can’t quite remember every one although i’m sure they’re good)

For the DBZish genre, maybe try Yu Yu Hakusho (a classic) and Attack on Titan. But you may have already seen them I suppose. I'm not a huge follower of that genre so...hmm... Fate/ series?

Thanks for the response! I’ve never seen those besides a few episodes of AOT and Fate/ (fate was a suggestion by crunchyroll that i tried to watch haha)

Still open to suggestions!

Fellow Doki doki player here. If starting part of it is the part you liked there should be plenty of visual novels like that. It's the psychological horror that makes it unique.  Something similar might be madoka magica, higurashi or this .
