Seshi
Name an anime, then compare it with its closest related anime (in your opinion) Rurouni Kenshin is most like Peacemaker Kurogane.
Seshi
Funny, I was thinking of a code geass when I made this topic. Lol I have never seen it myself, but was toying with the idea of watching it. Thanks for weighing in on the genre for me.
Shiroe
I feel that Steins;Gate is pretty similar to Re:Zero. Both have chuunnibyou protagonists way over in their heads and have to use time travel to solve their problems. Because of this, they feel alone, which creates a divide between them and the people close to them. After suffering physically and mentally, both main characters have to come to terms with reality and who they are, then face their problem head on. Also, I rated both of them a 7 because the shows were enjoyable, but the overall messages of the shows didn't particularly appeal to me.
Beocat
I'd actually say Earth Maiden Arjuna and Captain Planet (although the latter is not an anime in my opinion). The "educational" nature of the show, the obsession with nature crying out in pain from all the horrible things that people do (if not exaggerated to the fullest in the show), even the infomercial post show clips where it tries to actively and blatantly advocate for the things in the show scream to me as the Japanese version of Captain Planet. Good show, but certainly just as preachy as Captain Planet ever was.
