  2. Went looking for one of the new sulfur caves but didn't find one. Might try again tomorrow or sunday, depending on peoples' schedules. Also did some experimenting with what kind of load the happy ghasts can carry. A loaded chestboat is fine, even with a sheep or a villager, but it won't carry a player in the boat/chestboat. Not a big deal since up to 4 players can ride on top but.. Minecraft physics. Note I said that it will carry a villager. This will make starting a new village much easier. No more luring a villager with beds or laying 1000s of blocks of rail.

  4. Bit of an update, think I maybe found a lead. Haven't found the song yet, but i think its the same vocalist that did Rise from ghost in the shell(or someone who sounds very similar). I know yoko kanno was the composer for that but im not sure if she did vocals too. Gonna start digging on this one

  13. Huh, wasn't aware Elantris had sequels planned. Always took it for a one-off. Might pencil in some time for those when they release...
  14. Grounded 2 Started a new playthrough with my husband. Excited for the new update!
  15. Today I threw a splash potion of oozing into a pen full of chickens. Easy way to get half a stack of slime blocks. It could have been more but the phantoms kept getting in the way. The thunderstorm didn't help. Some sheep were involved as well when I accidentally hit the fence of their pen with my axe while trying to get some slime that had overflowed from the chicken pen. Lessons learned. I'll do it differently next time.
  16. I have gone through wayyyyyyy too many anime at this point. Most any that sound interesting to me I have watched at least once if not twice or more. I love rom com, romance, isekai, and fantasy. My list I have watched includes Wise Man's Grandchild (caught up on the manga) SAO The Genius Princes Guild Headhunter to another world Failure Frame Suppose a kid from the last dungeon A galaxy next door Arifureta Dragon Raja (almost caught up on the manga) The unaware atelier meister The angel next door Classroom of the elite Gals can't be kind to otaku (almost caught up on the manga) Second prettiest girl in class (caught up on the manga too) Can't be in a rom-com with your childhood best friends The Great cleric (caught up on the manga) I got a cheat skill in another world The brilliant healers new life in the shadows Tales of the wedding rings I'm getting married to a girl I hate in my class Solo leveling (finished the manwha) My status as an assassin obviously exceeds the heros Frieren Chitose in the ramune bottle Op, Naruto, Demon Slayer, JJK + Modulo, Black Clover, and Haikyuu. I am done with all and their manga Blue Box (favorite) Chillin in another world with level 2 super cheat powers Even given the worthless appraiser class I am the most powerful The ossan newbie Summoned to another world for the second time Banishes from the heros party so I decided to live a quiet life in the countryside Scooped up by an S-rank adventurer I left my a-rank party Shield Hero Grieving soul retire Possiblely the greatest alchemist of all time Lord marksman and vanadis Ive been killing slimes for 300 years Plus another like 15+ fantasy or isekai and another 20+ rom com or romance So if you made it this far any recommendations that I haven't seen would be amazing.

  18. Indeed! Reading has always been a favorite past time of mine. Although I do go through slumps. I finished Brandon Sanderson's Wind and Truth recently, which unfortunately took quite some time. It was a really good end to the first part of The Stormlight Archive, but I'm not looking forward to how long it'll be before the next arc starts. (IIRC, he's said he's going to write all of era three Mistborn, and a couple Elantris sequels before he finishes Stormlight.) Also finished The Myth of Sissyphus by Albert Camus. I genuinely enjoy philosophical-type works, even though I usually feel dumb after reading them. I understood some of what I read, but not even close to all of it, lol. OP, what're some of your favorite books/authors?
  19. I got the plat for Persona 3 Reload today - which happens to be my first plat, after eighteen years of having a PSN account, hah. I don't usually care about them, but P3 is one of my all-time favorite games, so I wanted to try for it. It wasn't particularly difficult, just time consuming. I'll either continue my file for the FFX-2 remaster next, or play something I haven't actually played before.
  20. Albi here. I came across this site when I was looking around for active forums, as I've long since grown tired of (mainstream) social media. I also miss being a member of forums, because I used to have a blast on a couple from about 2009-'14. Partly due to nostalgia, and partly because the format is better, imo. Not really much to say. I started watching anime as a kid, via stuff airing on TV, then started watching (genuine) fansubs around 2007. Except for a period of a few years, I've always been watching. Although, I do re-watch stuff pretty frequently. Other interests are gaming, music, reading, and films. Cheers. ^^
  21. I read quite a lot (currently at 35 books read this year, a bit of a slump). I'll give almost anything a try and enjoy works from a broad variety of genres, but I'm particularly partial to dark/epic fantasy, science fiction (I'll take any level of hardness) and supernatural horror.
  22. Blazing heat and high humidity, though that's nothing new for this time of year, nor is the few days of thunderstorms the weather stations claim we have coming down over the next few days.
  23. For me, it's characters - above all else, you have to make me care about your characters, and that goes for every single genre of anime. They can be wonderful people, they can be terrible people, they can be laser-focused on a single objective or just living their day-to-day lives, but an anime absolutely must get me to want to watch those characters do their thing, whatever that "thing" is. You can have all the grand conflicts you want going on, all the wild powers you can imagine or the most incredible animation ever put to screen, but if I don't care about the characters caught up in those conflicts or wielding those powers or who are so lovingly animated, I'm not going to stick around.
  24. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury to wait or study. I'm interested in seamanship because it covers the cost of the living. You get a room to sleep on in the ship, electricity, water and food are covered. For a man who is forced to emigrate his country with no money, it's the only viable option. Any job that covers the cost of living is ideal for me. I know couple of languages, I have a degree in electro engineering, I'm good at Photoshop and I can edit videos. Video editing is limited because my laptop is not made for it.
