My brother in law and I have different order tactics in restaurants. We often have a discussion over that. It doesn't matter where he is, wich city, country or restaurant;...he orders a steak. I often ask him, jeezz, try something new. Where he says: "but i know i like steak, why take the risk i order something i dont like?". Well because now you will never know if you like other dishes more than steak. Perhaps you order something you dont like, but maybe something great. In all my life this has been my philosophy. Sure i have my favorite meals, people, countries for holidays etc. But i am always willing to try something new. And sometimes it backfires (seriously, Afghan restaurant,....2 liter rose water with everything?),..but often i find a pearl. Nowwwwww, my point is: why dont i have this with Anime??? 95% of what i watch is isekai, adventure, magic. If i read the words "slice of life",..i feel my food getting back up. Buttt i must admit to myself;..there is also a very specific nice i also like. The strong villainess meets the prince romcom. Haha i dont watch it much but when i do;..i like it. Why do i refuse to give other anime genres a chance? What are your opinions on this? You like to take a chance on anime and dont mind wasting 2 hrs if it is not good?

It is too hot here in the Netherlands. I am a bit depressed. So gonna watch something outside my usual magic fantasy or isekai. Will start now with 'Always a catch!'. Anyone seen it? Any good?

Hi, i mentioned this before. I really love this anime. In my top 3 of the last 4 years. Th critics and people opinion hated it. I was really worried if there would be a s02. There is now. I still love it. Since i have no idea why people would hate it i looked at different comments in different media, It was very interesting. The main complain was;..anime means movement and they are not moving. Haha it never occured to me,..so i rewatched some eps. And true. Everything in the frame was so still except the faces moving. I could not look beside it. BUT i still enjoy the anime much. So my questions: - Do you look at the movement in an anime? - Did you watch the beginning after the end and like it? - Is gfx above story telling?

This seasons anime. It is magic fantasy. 3 eps out now. The MA rating is insane. I am not sure if it is that good. BUTTT,..i cannot remember if i ever have seen an anime the last 30 years with so much detail. Every frame is like a painting. I just watched Isekai Cheat Magician (2019) for the seond time. 12 eps, low MAL score. But i like it. It is nothing new, OMC, isekai, magic. But it is relaxing and has a surprising amount of action in it. If you are looking for some popcorn anime;..watch this

Just watched S02E01 of farming life in another world. I love this show and this ep was great again. Still dont know why i enjoy it this much. Have watched s01 like 4 times. Yes it is relaxing and yes it is isekai, but still. Normally i dnont like the slow slice of life. haha anyone that enjoys it as well and can explain to me what makes it good?

I am looking forward the most to season 2 of Farming Life in Another World . i was a big fan of season 1. Watched it 3 times. BTW offtopic;..since when is CR watchable on Prime? Just noticed today
