A Tsundere is a person who has feelings for someone but gets easily upset with that person and overreacts to things that the person they care about does , often this is because they get embarrassed or because the person does something to upset them (ie: doing something dangerous will result in the Tsundere calling the character a baka and then crying and saying that they don't want to loose them) And yes Helga would fit , I still find Arnolds head terrifying , why is it the shape of a foot ball (american) why??? I cant agree with you on Misaki I think her character was done well but I think that because the series was dragged out a little too much it might have an effect on how people view her. Very true the Tsundere character has become too common and has been over used and unless their made exceptionally well they become the stereotypical Tsundere that no one likes.

If you wan't to see a MC being treated like a real b!tch then read [spoiler=NSFW] Sundome [FLOAT_RIGHT] [/FLOAT_RIGHT] As for the popularity of Tsundere I think that's because it generates a lot of comedy and it can also be used by the writers to create situations (mostly misunderstandings) where we can learn more about the characters.Also Tsundere characters can be cast in many different situations and still make sense , you can't exactly throw a Yandere type into a slice of life without it having an effect on the whole anime (not a 100% but you get what I'm trying to say right?).

I find it to be really fun especially since my classmates are Otakus

Started my Japanese lessons last week and it was great it's R200 (equivalent of around 20$) for two hour lessons and I currently have a class of 3 including myself (usually the classes are kept to four but one class got split in two so i could finally get a spot ).

I am definitely an Otaku , I watch too much anime and read too much manga to be called anything but an Otaku. My only short coming my opinion is that I only have one piece of memorabilia and that's my FMA Pocket watch , which I got from England. Problem is that over here memorabilia is very difficult to come by , in my years of being an Otaku I have only ever found one item and that was an Ichigo hollow mask (1st version) and nothing since then has popped up , the only other way to get that sort of thing here is to order it online but I don't have a credit card. I don't think people who only watch the popular/well known anime have the right to call themselves anime enthusiasts never mind calling themselves Otakus.

[spoiler=Episode 8] Due to Kises use of Perfect copy in the beginning of the game Serin is thrown off balance ,Riko subs in Furihata who slows the pace and makes sure the team plays more carefully. Now begins the battle between Taiga and Kise.

I laughed so hard :'(. Very true I know loads of people drop anime over fillers even when they were made really well. I've only gotten through 240 episodes of one piece (as of 20 minutes ago) but from what I have seen the fillers are a 50/50 deal , some of them are really enjoyable and some aren't and some have no reason to exist what so ever . In the end it really comes down to how the filler is made and (relative) relevance to the show and characters. If they get made badly then no one will want to watch them , the same is also true if they are about something completely unrelated.

Hell Yeah ! That was an amazing series. I need to see more :'( I would love to see a new season , the first was so good. I would really like a second season here as well.

Haven't seen it yet :'( but I've been wanting to watch it , just been busy with a lot of other anime namely One Piece I have just gotten pat the 200 episode mark and I'm enjoying it but I know that it's supposed to get much better after 300 (or so I've been told) and then get even better after 500 (again this is what I've been told) but I will have to see for my self.

The whole of the second season has a serious tone to it and I think you will find it a lot more . . . captivating ? yeah lets go with captivating.

Mushishi is amazing but sadly I haven't been able to get my hands on the second season (It is one of my favorite animes so I'm real annoyed by this). I really enjoyed the Monogatari series that I have seen (seen about 5 of them ) but I haven't seen the newest ones :'(. Haven't heard of Aria the Natural is it good ? Whats the genre ?

[spoiler=Episode 8] We learn of Yoshimuras past and about the One Eyed Owl. The air is thick with tension I think that the CCG are preparing to attack Anteiku.
