Both Anime and Gaming are awesome and since the forum is awesome too, im sure there is space for it to fit. It seems like there are a lot of people on this forum who indulge in both)

The problem with that is nowadays game developers make it so that buying DLC is almost compulsory. Referred to as the term Pay-To-Win.

Funny you should say this. I bought my PS4 on the day of release and almost permanently have problems with it. They only started coming through after the warantee expired.

I agree, I rarely buy used games but that is mainly because my friends and I work in a way which we each buy a game and then send it around for everyone to play (there is only three of us so its no biggy). When i do buy used games its usually a year or two after it released due to me forgetting about it.

I am what is referred to as a Completionist, i work through every quest, earn every trophy no matter if it be "Look up a girls skirt of 5 minutes" or "Die 100 times in a row". I can easily spend hundreds of hours on a single game if need be. Often enough i complete most of the game before i even do the second quest of the main story.

I don't always preorder games as i prefer to let my friends be the guinea pigs due to me being an online gamer and communities for games die so quickly. However when i do preorder a game it is usually because it comes with some sort of incentive that is actually worth it, like free DLCs. The last game i preordered was Battlefront, but cancelled last minute.

Firstly, welcome and hope to see you around. To point something out, I.M.O. there is no level of otaku, yes you get the hardcore ones that watch all day and night, all week and then the casual watcher. For me however, otaku is not describing how dedicated you are but how much you love what it is you are doing. Also those series you chose to watch first were all really good as i have watched most of them myself. Enjoy comicon and happy hunting.

On that note, i cant really judge scene as i have never really gotten into the series. I played a bit of 1 and 2 but it is not my type of game. [Dont get me wrong i still think its a great game]

Just how much do you like AC .

I no longer own them as my house was broken into but i used to have a pair of Astros Headsets. I valued them not only because they were expensive but it was the last gift i received from a close family member who was the reason i got into gaming.

So it's no secret that i am a gaming nut and with thousands of hours stuck in have yet to hit a rut. That aside 2015 was yet another great year for gaming with new releases selling millions of copies within days of release such as the mammoth series and its latest installment Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, FIFA 15 (which I have never bothered to even try), Assasins Creed: Syndicate, Bloodborne, Batman: Arkham Knight, Fallout 4 and lets not forget StarWars: Battlefront. All-in-all it 2015 saw some great titles being released during the course of its year but what about this year??? Will 2016 surpass last year or will it be put to shame? What titles are you looking forward to this year albeit PC, PS, Xbox or any other handheld device? My personal interests lie with Dead Island 2, Far Cry: Primal, Dishonored 2 and most of all the next Battlefield game. (Just for interest note the Poll)

I love this forum but nonetheless i struggle to keep to one thing for long. Hence the longest animes i can watch are 25s. It has taken me 3 years to get halfway through Bleach... Wait i lost my train of thought, point proven . Back to the main point, there are periods of time when i dont log on for months then get hooked again.

To this day, i still mix up Scary and Cute. Kawaii and Kowai.

I must say, as i almost always have my headset on my hearing has slightly worsened to the point of me accusing a friend of suggesting to commit suicide.

I loved this manga. Still upset with the mangaka that he just ended it like that.

So this occurred to me recently while looking through various web pages for a new pair of glasses (for various reasons). There are many ways to watch anime, play games and such but visuals alone don't provide everything we want. The sound, that's what gives the impact of the motions. But what is really the best way for us to receive this concoction of beeps and bangs? I often discuss this with a friend of mine (Yuuki_Rodasian) and we both have different views as i assume many others do. Personally I have found it best to watch using a pair of headphones, be it the cheap ones that you get with the purchase of a cellular-phone or a proper headset (I switch between the two) over watching while using the built in speakers. I am currently using the Sony Wireless 3.0 headset (build for gaming purposes). To me it feels like the headset provides more "oomph" and when they are not within my grasp and I am forced to use speakers I find it less enjoyable, almost as if watching with one eye closed or watching Dubbed series. I would like to hear what you guys think leave a comment below.

Almost anything Nightcore'd. Most of the 90's music (thanx to my parents and their friends). The occasional rock song if it catches my attention in an AMV and most of Melanie Martinez's songs.

If you are on Current gen (PS4 in particular) i recommend trying out Far Cry 4, Dying Light and/or Just Cause 3

Firstly, if you havnt heard of Skyrim or The Elder Scrolls, you live under a digital rock (this applies to gamers because there are those less awesome people out there who wouldn't know ). Skyrim and its series in its entirety is one of the best RPGs out there I.M.O and I have noticed how it is influencing newer games years after its release. Take Far Cry 4 for example. Same game, to the point where the beginning is exactly the same, just different mechanics. But the thing i love about the game most is that it never gets boring. I played it on all platforms (and begged Bethesda to make a Definitive edition for PS4 [which they ignored]) but i must say it is best on PC due to the mods. I mean i have spent the last few weeks running around as Ichigo's Hollow form from Bleach with a Lightsaber in one hand and a Dubstep Cannon in the other. My mate recently (about three months ago) borrowed me Oblivion. Yet to play it, probably wont but it is second to none as a predecessor to V. The online game was a massive let down so stay away from it.
