Of the times that I've actually looked around Brunei, I totally understand what you mean by the slow pace of life. It's insane. Nobody rushes, I mean, why would you rush? It's just so laid back and slow.

I was at Macdonalds in Singapore at 6 in the morning and they had maybe 5 people, alot more compared to the usual mornings here. Philippines, with the insanely large malls that people love to hang around in, it isn't uncommon to see 2-3 Macdonalds (or any other fastfood restaurant in the same mall, and those places are literally full of staff, and when I say full, I mean full. Fastfood chains have waiters in Philippines, its crazy. Anyone know anywhere else that has waiters at fastfood restaurants? As for expensive labour, I'm inclined to agree with you there!

The best Macdonalds breakfast I had was in Singapore, it was literally mouthwatering. The lady accidentally dropped the orange juice (or whatever it was I that had) and the manager came out himself and gave me a new one!

What languages can you speak and understand and also what is your proficiency? English Pretty much the same situation as Victor, English is my first language Filipino My parents speak illonggo around the home,a dialect most prevalent in the Southern areas of Philippines. I have a fairly basic understanding of it. Tagalog, the national dialect is another story, I get completely lost when hearing it. However if Taglish (tagalog english) is being spoken I can sometimes grasp the conversation. Any new languages you would like to learn? I actually haven't been very motivated towards learning a new language at all, hasn't really occurred to me why! Have you spoken any basic phrases recently of another language (e.g. travelling)? Forgive me for sounding blunt, but nope

Fractures do feel quite painful but I'd rather a fracture over a dislocation anyday! Yeah, I waited a good half an hour on the ground for the ambo and then another 40 or so minutes in the hospital D:

So early last year on the day of the Ball, I dislocated my left elbow. Recovery has been slow and painful and the last couple months I have seen no improvement, so I decided to see a doctor. After x-rays, it turns out I have bone fragments around the joint. I'm on the waiting list for a couple months to see a specialist. Anyway! What injuries have you had? Im curious

Wouldn't kill me at all, I don't know anybody in my entire year who actually watches Stargate, understandable given the first film (which the series span-off from) was released in 1994. The problem with it being such a long series is that firstly, people are reluctant to even start given the amount of episodes. Secondly they just don't get "hooked" in the first few episodes. Given the tendency for people to stop watching after season 1 episode 3, I would recommend actually watching the very last season of SG-1, Season 10. (There's three series, SG-1, Atlantis and Universe) Literally, just choose a random episode. If you're into sci-fi, you really can't ignore Stargate. If not, I wouldn't bother entirely

Well, I just had it this morning! With eggs and sausages and tomato and a salad You'd probably have to cook it yourself unfortunately, any place with bacon probably has it in a burger and any place with rice won't have bacon

Anybody into it? If so, 1. Favourite series 2. Favourite character and why? For me my favourite series was actually Stargate Universe. I loved how it felt like it had more direction, and something to strive for, i.e the meaning of the universe. I also loved the huge amount of attention placed on character development. While I admit it made some parts quite a drag I think itstrengthenedthe series overall. My favourite character was Baal from SG-1. Evil, cunning, but not a Darth Vader copy-cat. He felt original.

I can definitely see where people who didn't read the books get lost in certain parts of the movies. Tends to happen in very long books, or ones with sequels (Harry Potter). I recently watched Total Recall, the new one. I thought it was a good movie but I didn't like the mind-bending "is it is a dream or not" purely because neither it being a dream or actually occurring made no sense. Not a very well put togetherambiguous ending imo.

Slenderman only got scary for me when I played it in the front row of class and a friend of mine (male) freaked in in my ear when he saw Slenderman. that was the first encounter though, the second one went a little more like "Hey is that what i think it is?" "nah I dunno" "it looks like a tree" /moves forward /weird skinny man with no face comes into view "THAT'S HIM RUN"

How often do you go to the Cinema? Maybe 4 or 5 times a year if I'm lucky Typical pricing to see a movie? <blockquote class="ipsBlockquote" data-author="Optic" data-cid="1788" data-time="1358353185] The biggest Cinema chain in Australia is Hoyts. Other big chains include ACE and Greater Union. There are a few small independent cinemas too that have a different atmosphere. Adult prices range between $10 to $17 depending on discounts and loyalty cards. 3D movies will always attract a surcharge of around $2. If you're a student you can get under $10 ticket pricing. There is also a premium option, for Hoyts they call it La Premiere and for ACE they call it the Gold Lounge. Pricing is around $60 for a two seater couch and features include more comfortable seating, hot food which can be brought out to you at your preferred intervals and access to alcoholic drinks. </blockquote> Nailed it Went and saw Life of Pi in 3D today, cost me $13, the lady was kind enough to give me and my girlfriend children's tickets haha! Do you usually buy food and drink from the Candy Bar? No, unless it's a group, then we usually split it in pairs. I think the last time I split with someone half of the popcorn ended up over me and she had m&m's or something ridiculous spilled everywhere Anyway! Getting carried away. Ever experienced a disruption? (e.g. fire alarm, technical fault) Does a wall of girls in front of us texting with their screens on high thinking they're being discrete count? Your most favourite movie at the Cinema? I have no idea! I'll get back to you on that!

<blockquote class="ipsBlockquote" data-author="Ciara" data-cid="1776" data-time="1358242407] BOTH! Oh my goodness, it rather depends! I love eating bacon with my rice.. Haha! </blockquote> Bacon + rice = great breakfast! <blockquote class="ipsBlockquote" data-author="RagnaRulZ" data-cid="1782" data-time="1358254908] I enjoy the sound of eating crispy bacon. Pork crunch for the win! </blockquote> I concur, although I hate the sound of crunching on sugar D:

Hm, not really to be honest. I lean towards using Facebook as my main method of communication. I basically only browse AN and the LoL forums now and I occasionally check and update Tumblr. IM and email have gone out the window, at least in my age bracket. Yahoo! Messenger is the only IM I use because it's what the folk use in Philippines. Email, well, my original email is flooded with just junk, there's some stuff in there that I used to consider important but not anymore, so I've made a new account and using it for Tumblr, Facebook and AN, but no communication through it. With Facebook mobile being free, it ends up being used more than SMS and phonecalls. Other services like Instagram, Twitter, Reddit (hm, sometimes I stumble across things that interest me here) don't really interest me

Some days I like it crispy, other days soft Just depends on how I feel. Soft if I'm putting into into toast though. I don't really know anywhere that does it crispy, seeing as I cook it myself haha

The Half Blood Prince was my favourite book and Order Of the Phoenix was my favourite movie I love Harry Potter

It's free to play, paying summoners (players) in League of Legends have no gameplay advantage over free summoners, other than looking more attractive than other summoners. There's no different account types. Max level is 30, which is easy to obtain, so it's quite easy to get hooked. Most players seem to play it once, leave it, come back again and find themselves loving it, like I did. The MOBA industry is centered in being free to play at the moment, and I expect it'll stay that way

The fate of the universe hangs in the balance... Soft or crispy bacon? What does it depend on?
