  1. Echoing what the others have said, you are never too old since there is anime for different ages, and anime tends to touch on a variety of subject matters too, how good a series is, and how well the subject is handled depends on the writer. I'm in my late 30s myself, and my tastes have changed a lot, and I am a lot picker than I use to be too (never been one of those watch everything types either), but I still enjoy anime regardless
  2. I love anime from both the 90s, and 2000s, but it undeniably the 90s that I love most. Anime like Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, and many more that caused me to fall in love with anime came from that decade, and they hold a charm entirely their own that I can't stop loving.
  3. I generally prefer to watch a main character grow to become as strong as they can, I am fine with watching them start out strong, but not over powered of course. I can enjoy a over powered character though, but I have to be able to like them though.
  4. Been playing this indie game called Cabernet, it's been fun so far, it takes inspiration from Vampire the Masquerade, however so far it hasn't been anywhere near as dark, and edgy as Bloodlines was lol. I also just recently started playing Genshin Impact after being convinced by a friend to give it a try. It's honestly better than I expectedh. Haven't been able to play multiplayer yet though.
  5. A few I agree with, and a few of my own. Hyouka (really wish this got a second season) A Place Further than the Universe Princess Principal Flip Flappers Wolf's Rain Noein s-CRY-ed
  6. Between those two Johan easily. Shou Tucker maybe a sick pitiful excuse for a man for the things he just to maintain his fame, and state alchemist license did. How ever Johan a man with a identity crisis who knew full what he was doing went out of his way to murder, manipulate, screw with people, and ruin lives all because of his warped sense of self, and a desire to be erased/not exist? He was a especially twisted one.
  7. As some of the others have already said there have always been plenty of female anime/manga fans, I've spoken to plenty of them on some old forums I use to frequent in the past. The only reason there seems to be more of them now is that anime is more main stream now there for the female fans are more out in the open. There is absolutely nothing wrong with girls/women enjoying it like this too I see it as a good thing.
  8. It depends on the anime, the localization, the choice of voices, the voice acting, and of course it's availability. I find some anime like K-ON for a example are usually better in Japanese since most Western VA aren't able to do the appropriate voices for those since other wise it is werid hearing deeper tones of voices coming from the characters. Otherwise I am fine watching dubs as long as they are good.
  9. Oh I know! Found out that the day after I finished the season 3 lol which I was surprised, and happy to hear about. Though I already read passed the music festival arc the promo image is representing, but I can't imagine this season being only about the music festival, but considering how the handled the last season... Anyway I still want to see how they intend to animate it, and hopefully they do some of the post arc stuff too. As for manga I'm still reading Iruma-kun, and haven't found anything else to read yet
  10. Mostly Crunchyroll, and Netflix, and sometimes Tubi it basically comes down to availability, and what grabs my attention.
  11. Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun! Since I wanted to see what happened beyond season 3 of the anime.
  12. I got too many favorites that I can narrow down to a single one. Mega Man X1-X4 Mega Man Legends Mega Man Zero 2, and Zero 3 Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Major's Mask, Wind Waker, and Link's Awakening Resident Evil 1-4, and RE1, 2, and 4's Remakes. Silent Hill 1 & 3 Fatal Frame 1-3 Final Fantasy 7, and 9 Morrowind Dying Light Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines These are pretty much the games I find myself thinking back to with a lot of fondness, and sometimes even go back to from time to time. I'm a big RPG, and Survival Horror guy lol.
  13. Not just later today, but for the past few days a friend, and I have been playing Baldur's Gate 3 multiplayer. It's been a lot of fun, though I have 1 gripe with how they handle NPCs when it comes to groups. I have been also playing Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl too, and I have been loving it (I am a sucker for post apocalyptic settings), but it's been kicking my arse too lol which is the true Stalker experience.
  14. Me, and a friend have been playing it on online multiplayer for the past few nights, and it's a lot of fun. Though I do wish you can talk to any of the companions regardless of weather, or they're grouped with you, or the other player.
  15. Thanks! Clannad is one of those series that definitely holds a special in my heart, and that I look back on with great fondness too. I should get around to rewatching it at some point myself since I haven't watched it in a long time.
