    New Year, New You?

I agree! It has become a stupid trend people use to attract attention. "Oh, look at me! I'm making a change! Wow, so inspiring!" It really isn't inspiring. People change and improve all the time, and they don't get recognition for it. Why should they? It's a personal choice and the whole world doesn't need to know about it. Anyway, the way you worded your comment was excellent. You bring up great points that I agree with.
  2. As the new year begins, what do people tend to say as they strive to accomplish their resolutions? "New year, new me!" But in reality, does that ever happen? Most people give up after a month or two. Or sometimes, people quit within a week. But who can blame them? Besides, you have to work for the 'new you'. It doesn't happen as soon as the new year starts. So really, why is there such a saying if no one ever accomplishes it? People may accomplish their goals/resolutions, but it seems that no one ever actually becomes the way they want to. Let's say this year you want to improve your attitude or personality. It will take some time, but it's not impossible. Let's say you accomplish this. Congrats! But do you feel like a new you? Or do you just feel better about yourself? Maybe it's just me, but the whole "new year, new me" thing is ridiculous. Let me know what you guys think about the whole thing. Do you guys believe in the "new year, new me" saying?
  3. I actually don't have any, but all I know is that I want to save up money for a gaming PC. I also want to try to improve myself in many ways. Plus, anime is always something I plan on watching. Hopefully this year isn't too busy for me.
  4. Overall, I usually play as a female because I want the character to resemble me in a way. Customizing characters is also really fun, and I find it enjoyable.
  5. I've rewatched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya at least 5 times. Not sure why, but I just really love the characters and the novels. There's many others I could name, but I don't want to go into details.
