  1. I've realized that in my whole life everything I do feels scuffed, it is either due to my struggle with following through with the same effort I had when I started something. I recently started a YouTube channel where I read out my writing with some sort of visual. I look back and all I can see is things to improve on. This for some reason makes it harder for me to make new content. (the some reason being I need to make it perfect.) Though I could argue I am just a scuffed person and that the authenticity in my creative work is the lack of perfection. I also feel pretentious in what I speak about, I feel like a pseudo-intellectual. I usually only write stuff when i am in a piss poor mood or feel doomed. Which blows because I feel very content with life and everything feels like it is going according to plan! It is a bogus paradox where I am happy life is going well but frustrated that I feel creatively stumped. I just want to make stuff that moves people to positivity. (Another issue is finding privacy at home to even record the audio for these readings) For me this YouTube channel is the closest thing I have to chasing my dream while also achieving what I need to be financially free. (I honestly might post multiple times a day on this blog)
  2. Honestly I never would've guessed that. I remember watching welcome to NHK and had the misconception that it was only about romance. I did understand that the Narrative was very important tho. Thanks for teaching me something new!
  3. Thanks man, you said the stories are good in eroge? in what sense lol. Like is it like just romance stories or like something else?
  4. Goodluck with that bro its definitely achievable man. I did the mistake of searching what an eroge is! never doing that again. but hey man you got it! VN translation is gonna be awesome, I believe in you!
  5. This is a great point ngl. I feel like having characters that aren't well written overall affect the level of interest I have for a series. I often catch myself watching through a show simply because a character is super entertaining and complex and or simple in a way that is intriguing.
  6. Hey guys! Yes this is my like 20th post atp (my job is super boring). Speaking of jobs, what would your dream job be? if money did not matter that is. Unless you're working you dream job which is awesome! For me it would have to be a Travel Journalist. I would want to travel the world (Backpacking Even) and ask people on the street's questions about what they enjoy where they live, what they would change, and about their beliefs. I love travelling. Whether it is a road trip or even a small trek! The truth matters a lot to me, Especially in these times where we have insane propaganda. But yeah that's enough about me! What is your dream job? (Go into detail it's awesome to see peoples passion towards things.)
  7. Recently I have been wondering, "what aspect of a show/anime draws me in?". For me it is raw emotion, or a simulation of raw emotion. It feels like the best way to see this however is through great struggles, the overcoming of great struggles that brings hope and inspires me. But also to see despair where the story feels hopeless but not too drawn out. I recently discovered I enjoyed this when listening to an audiobook of Osamu Dazais' "No longer human" where the main character Yo'Chan is genuinely a hate-able person. But I can see the human-ness in his actions. His pure hedonism displaying the true emotion of desire and gluttony for pleasure. That is what draws me in. after that I looked into the Junji Ito Manga for No longer human which incorporates body horror with the original work to give a sick twist on the already treacherous read! So it made me wonder, what draws YOU guys in to continue a show or a book or even a movie?
  8. Hey man how are you! its awesome that youre learning english, youre doing a great job! Welcome tot he forum!

  12. If you guys are ever bored and feel like talking to someone add me and hit me up! I'm down to talk to anyone. I usually post on this forum when I'm bored at work so I will try to reply when I can. I am always happy to make new friends. Also thank you guys for the warm welcomes!
  13. honestly I am not much of a collector, I'd say the recent stuff I added was probably these two laptops that I thrifted and fixed up and ended up not using them cause ones too fat to take anywhere and the other has battery issues. (Yes Ik buy a new battery) But now theyre just rotting in my room, I had initially thrifted the smaller stuff to begin writing scripts for my youtube channel and work on a novel even. But i am a wage slave and do not even have the energy to work on anything before or after work! watering at the mouth looking at this.
  14. An Anime I feel heavily inspired by is probably GTO and Hajime no Ippo. These anime kinda show even if I'm down on my luck I can get back up and keep going.
  15. This is a really good motto ngl!
  16. I don't know how active this forum is but, something that's been on my mind is what do people tell themselves to keep going forward, or going higher and higher in life. what I mean is "WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING?" a lot of people tend to have inner mottos. This might seem corny but to me stuff like inner mottos is cool. I like knowing what people think when things get harder in life. I tend to tell myself "Take Time Things Come". So what is your MOTTO?
  17. My name is LaEspoir! like many of you, I've been watching anime all my life. since I was a baby. My first anime was Digimon data squad which I watched in Italian Dubbing. No i do not understand Italian LOL. I am really into Anime/Manga with dark themes. Not because I am edgy but because I am captivated by exaggerated and raw feelings, which are conveyed through most dark mangas! My favorite Mangaka is Takehiko Inoue, because I love his series REAL (amazing stuff!). I like talking to random people so I am excited to be a part of this forum!
