  1. *Digs and picks up potato. Threatens to boil it and picks up crown.* Winning~
  2. Apparently School Days fits into that category but I loved it! It's sort of a romance anime gone wrong. Saionji Sekai
  3. *picks up potato and plants it into ground. Picks up the crown and runs.* Winning~
  4. There is indeed. *Takes crown off of Rye and runs* Winning~
  5. I love anime with those well developed training routines. Dragon Ball (not Z) for example, Goku had to practice his stamina and balance under Master Roshi by delivering milk every day, he later had to climb Korin's tower and then Kami's lookout where her improved his lung capacity and learned how to meditate. It's a huge turn off when they start repeating same training procedures over and over again, like they've did in Z with gravity. My favorite anime by far when it comes to these is Hunter x Hunter. Whole anime is filled with these and Gon's journey is literally ''from 0 to hero''. I've never felt cheated, all of progress made perfect sense to me and it was so original as well. I'm totally like Bisky! I'm studying at Teacher's faculty and I have that same obsession with talent that she has! I also see people as raw gems that are waiting to be smelted into perfect emeralds, and at those times I almost have the same excitement Hisoka has before battles! Gotta love HxH!
  6. Awwwh! Poor thing @RyePotatoes , you've got eaten twice! Winning~
  7. Nana to Kaoru It's a weird manga overall. It is a manga about psychology behind S&M, and although that'd usually imply that it's more about sex it really isn't. In fact I don't think that there's any scene with sex throughout the whole manga. I really liked it because I was always interested in that and I've never thought I'd find anything like that but I did. Truth to be told I read quite some time ago so I don't remember it that well, so I'll probably read it once again and update this post then. The Breaker *Honorable mention. I don't think that it even qualifies as manga since those are traditionally made in Japan and this one is from Korea.
  8. *tickles your throat and makes you cough* Off to winning ways again!
  9. Clannad is just awesome... I don't think that it's necessarily the case, maybe during first time you're watching it but once you complete it and eventually re-watch it, you're glad there's all that extra content. More of Clannad is only a good thing. Although I feel that those first few episodes of first part, even before Fuko's Arc were kinda unnecessary, nothing really happened in them and all the things that did happen could have easily been implemented into Fuko's Arc IMO.
  10. You're that eager to crown me @RyePotatoes ?
  11. Hey there @KaiTellsTheTruth, thanks! Hope we'll get to interact!
  12. If you're a guy then definitely a shonen. I've watched anime sporadically on TV for years before I've gotten into them more seriously and all of anime that were showing were shonen, and for a good reason. Shonens are easily digestible, they're stories about struggle between good and evil typical for all of cultures. Like in Daniel's case I too watched Naruto and since Jetix (good old Jetix.... :'() was rolling them out slowly I've wanted to watch them more regularly it prompted me to look for more episodes online. Now granted I've previously did the same with Dragon Ball Z but Naruto made me look for other anime. My suggestion for a beginner's anime would also be Naruto, Bleach and/or Hunter x Hunter (probably my favorite shonen). However, I'm not sure how girls approach anime... I've been wanting to get my GF to watch some with me but it's kinda hard to pick where to start... I'll definitely show her Clannad eventually since it's my favorite anime but I was thinking and right now I'd like to show her something else first so she'd have some basic knowledge or an idea what to expect. So for girls I'd suggest animes like Kokoro Connect, Myself;Yourself or SAO. But since I'm not expert with girls anime I'd like to get some girl's feedback as well, ladies??
  13. Luckily for me I don't think that I've ever met a yandere, but I don't think that I've met tsundere either... I did have a friend with bipolar who could technically qualify as yandere but I've never experienced that side of her, and some girls appear kinda tsundere-ish but I wouldn't classify them as tsunedere. Both of those personalities refer to manifestations rather than actual types of people, and so it's easy to recognize a tsundere in shy and socially awkward girls and yandere in other insecure ones who most probably suffered from some sort of trauma which got them to that state. After everything said I'd have to go with tsundere simply because their issues appear to be a bit more humane and simpler and because for me personally they're more relatable than yandere.
  14. What a weird criteria, I love it! My favorite ''short'' character is most probably Radical Edward from Cowboy Beboop, who just happens to be short and fits into that criteria. Although if I had to chose cutest short anime character or character who benefits the most of the fact he's/she's short, then definietely Taiga.
  15. Hello there! My name is Filip. I'm 21 year old from Serbia. I've watched anime since I was around 15 and stopped watching them roughly 2 years ago. With that said my main motive for coming here aren't anime but social aspect of forums. I've already been member of some other forums but they've unfortunately died out and since I miss it so much I've decided to try my luck with this one. Hopefully you'll treat me well!
