Nothing for me either. I might want some anime on Plex, to get over what I mentioned was happening today. I guess you can say we are part of the list of people with no life.
-
You too. Got anything planned today?
-
Aside from wanting lunch soon, but having to put it off, things are good here.

Most definitely, which is probably why western medicine looks like a joke now, in addition to the fact that both doctors and patients are apathetic (not all, of course, but a large enough amount that western medicine does not seem to be as great as it did before).

I do not have troubles with staff not being constant, but I can imagine it being a hassle. For me, it is how these people do not realize that they are making people hate themselves because of a number based on a scale that is prone to inaccuracy and is not ideal for people, based on their age and other factors, such as whether they are sedentary or active, with the former being a big problem for most of America. Plus, because of the heavy reliance on specialization and the blind trust we tend to have for authority, there are occasions in which the recommendation made is a terrible choice, yet people are pushing you hard into making that possibly terrible choice before you even have a chance to actually weigh the pros and cons.

Tests my doctor always asks for, even though the past tests have all been within a good enough range to not really need them as much, and how my defensive capabilities are diminished because of the people doing the tests for them and the annoyance of their procedure, which would become an even greater hindrance if and when life changes crop up again.

I am dreading it. It is calm and peaceful right now, though it is overcast outside, but it does not change the fact that it is still nothing more than the calm before the storm.

Hello there.
-
My brother jokes around that I am over the hill, but younger people would probably call me ancient. As for your request, I need to cause some havoc.
-
Yeah, I can see it being quite fun, much more so than just watching them. Of course, I would probably chase them, just to see what destruction is cause. I am just glad I have to deal with neither tornadoes nor hurricanes. Worst I see here is flash flooding.
-
Hopefully, nobody made the papers for being caught up in a hurricane of the same name, such as “Hurricane Dan gets swept away by Hurricane Dan.”
-
And no hurricanes either. A lot of the places in the US that could be considered similar to San Diego get hurricanes, and the only chance of being anywhere close to San Diego would be to leave the country, as I have read Perth, AU and the Canary Islands would be the next closest.
-
If you are in inland California, you could always go somewhere else, like San Diego. That has more even temperatures year round.

I am doing good here. Just relaxing in the fact that I have at least 4 hours alone.

I would say multiple things bother me that would be rant worthy, in my eyes, from situations like @SanguineTear‘s, which I have observed but never really dealt with too often, to people who berate others for being entitled when they themselves come off as entitled, with the false belief in what chivalry is and/or make assumptions, to how people are in general. However, only two things annoy me to no end. First, people get on my case about being lazy, or a perceived sense of being lazy. Even though I can indeed be lazy, I usually have things to do of my own, whether or not they are actually important, and, most of the time, people just will not do their own homework. Plus, there is also the possibility that if I do help out or do something that it was not actually something that would help other people out to begin with, in comparison to doing nothing. The second thing that gets on my nerves is when my family tries to get me to go to church again. Churches can help some people, and I was more faithful when I was younger and more naive, but as time went on, I was never truly happy there. Preachers and fellow parishioners would be driving into people that they were broken and needed fixing, people were too caught up in what things looked like or how they would be perceived, they thought they absolutely needed to be in a serious relationship to be happy, and they promoted both blind trust and ceasing the thoughts of when to say no, such as for financial reasons. I did meet good people at church that could think for themselves, but I always felt more at peace when I was alone on the streets, and when I stopped going, it became easier for me to accept myself and do what made me happy (and even found things with more powerful and/or uplifting messages). I do not want to go back to a place where I can see that people are letting church leaders do all the thinking, putting a wedge in their potential, and makes it hard for people to accept themselves and others because of being told that we are completely and utterly broken and need saving, to make sure that place continues to exist. However, if said family is happy in that church, I will not force them to stop going themselves.

Unless they are disturbing my peace and quiet, I do the same thing I’m letting them do as they please.

My grandma is on the great side, and my nieces and nephews seem to enjoy being with my mother, so my mom is probably on the side of great on the grandmother scale, so I have not really seen the other side, but considering how people can be, I would not doubt there are very demanding grandmothers. Can’t agree with this enough. After a while, my mom would say that enough is enough, but only after it has happened a few times.

I would probably pick teleportation beam. I enjoy walking and taking the bus, but a round trip can take a huge toll on me, especially if I have not done it in a while. What would you do if you met the grim reaper and it offered you its power?
-
That and they are too hyper and everything else associated with children, including a consistent urge to going in and out through the back door. I am still young enough to be able to deal with them, but I cannot stand them (my sister’s kids are a little better, since they stay out of my hair and have things to distract them). As for the quiet game, that is a good idea, though they are not going to listen to me over their grandma.
-
For me, that time to go is only a few minutes after they arrive and are left here. They cannot just do something in quiet.
-
Then we better get your dad a new heart and quick.
-
That makes sense. Would you turn them into potatoes, if you could?
-
I see. That’s good you kept him in your thoughts.
-
I see. That is certainly tough.
-
I am good as well, though I want my niece and nephew gone already.
