Looks like all it's going to do here all weekend though is rain ~

It's going to be 50F most days to then so no I am not thinking this will stay on the ground.

It snowed like @Sakura wanted however our state is now in a state of emergency for flooding and flash floods. Most streets and under bridges and freeways are flooded.

That doesn't sound good. Flooding can do a lot of damage to properties.

From what I know right now our lower parking garage areas are flooded and cars were floating down the street earlier so it does seem to be bad.

Wow!!  Amazing photos. Now that is serious flooding. I've been reading in the news about the widespread floods in your state and the surrounding ones. I've also read that some people have sadly lost their lives as a result of the floods and that whole areas have lost power and have had mandatory evacuation orders issued.  Stay safe up there on the 17th.

We saw that at almost every bridge right now. 

Today there wasn't any rain it was very cloudy however. Tomorrow is suppose to start snow but I'm unsure on how much yet as so far I heard everything from 4"-12".

I haven't read about anyone dying but honestly I'm not surprised. The flash flooding coming out of nowhere was really bad tbh ~

Downtown isn't so bad anymore. Our garage had water in it I think on the lowest level but our stuff was fine. There were some streets in low areas today still flooded and lots of detours around it, even some on campus and a lot of campus lower areas had huge puddles that were like lakes lol 

I keep hearing it's going to snow overnight and then snow more tomorrow so I HOPE. This time I would like moisture in the form of SNOW not 10 feet of water x.x

It's been snowing on and off throughout the day here and pretty cold temperature. More of the snow is expected overnight.

@Sakura will be happy if the snow settles and the flood waters recede.

 

There's bright sunshine coming through my window at the moment and it looks quite nice out, but I expect it will still be quite cold. I'll find out later on this morning when I go out to collect my recycling boxes once they've been emptied.

She got some more this morning however there isn't very much on the ground. Another round of Winter snowstorm is supposed to happen tomorrow.

I'm honestly so confused by our weather in the last week and I think everyone else is as well ~ we've had snow storms, tornados, flooding, hail, and everything else. It also does not comfort me that I woke up this morning and saw our local meteorologist had posted "At this point the only thing we won't see in this 7 day period is a locust invasion... probably" @.@ 

The flooding has been very bad in some areas with some places totally underwater. Where my home is at the water has receded but if you go 3 blocks away from me to the riverfront every street down there is covered in water and you can't drive over there ~ A lot of the roads/exits by my campus a few blocks away in the other direction are also still underwater and people are using kayaks and canoes and boats to go up and down the streets over there XD

This is about 5 minutes from my house vvv
