RagnaRulZ
The last episode is this Sunday (night)!
ankokuryuumugen
Salue to Obright and Diva. Otherwise, its still a trainwreck.
RagnaRulZ
But the kids love it... Bandai spawned a new kind of merch&game tie-in which is very popular with the kids. I'm sure many will also be curious of other series when they see the other Gundams.
ankokuryuumugen
Well, the game is by Level-5 after all. Even if they cant make good gundam anime, they know how to make good games.
RagnaRulZ
Some episodes where less than stellar since some development happen way late when the title is coming to a close. Of the three protagonist, who is your favourite?
ankokuryuumugen
Flit. Hardcore genocidal maniac bent on revenge. He evokes good old UC barabrism. Screw understanding. Look where that got Kio. And as for Asem. Hes a very good pilot. Super Pirate too. But hes flawed and his goals dont make sense. Why leave hot Romary alone for 13 years. You are lucky she didnt cheat on you. Actually, missing for 13 years implies that you are dead.
RagnaRulZ
The enemy mobile suits are one of the most unique to be shown in the franchise. While I think it worked well for the title, I haven't warmed up the designs until now. However, if you throw an AGE kit at me, I'm not gonna run away! ankokuryuumugen
Vegan used to be called UE and were thought to be aliens. I mean those designs worked well back then, because it wasnt something an enemy suit would look it. Gundam Age screwed around with a lot of gundam tropes. But the vegan suits are pretty cool. But so are the Age suits, they look pretty sleek homages to UC/SEED. Â Age-1's design grew on me. I was really loving it when I see Grandpa Flit piloting it with booster pack and full armored gear. RagnaRulZ
Grandpa Flit sure knows how to hot-rod his mobile suit. Â P.S, I've created a new thread in this section to discuss about gunpla/plamo.
Livan Goh
It ends this sunday!? That's really abrupt! Watching the previous episode already felt like they were rushing the ending. =/
Fab
Finally caught up to all the episodes I missed while I was in the army camp. Too bad I can only watch the last episode next saturday
RagnaRulZ
The pacing is indeed wonky. Well, their demographic is probably ADHD kids, so they are doing it right. LOL
Livan Goh
Haha maybe they just think that young kids have short attention spans. I still remember my younger bro not liking Gundam 00 because there was too much talking lol.
RagnaRulZ
Certainly, I don't remember much of the dialogue when I first watched SEED.
Fab
age does indeed feel very squeezed. There wasn't much character development throughout the series. Most of the deaths were like, quick and immediately forgotten. Except for maybe woolf
RagnaRulZ
Yea, AGE made some of the of the supposedly most prolific deaths into pretty insignificant ones.
Moster82
i agree with u... death in age 1 werent really carried forward to age 2 and onwards... For mi, i feel that there was a need to show us wat what to the characters that were on the Diva instead of just replacing the whole of Diva crew... They did a pretty gd job of keep Obright but did not do justice to expand his character development... I mean... after Remi die... there was so much more he could do in season 3 either then to just kill Fram (another death i felt happen too fast... could have expanded Obright character to match Fram instead of just suddenly pitting them against each other and killing off both characters at the same time...)
