I was born in Sweden and lived there for about 6 years growing up. Both of my parents are American born & raised but I've never once lived in America. I've only been there for vacations. Dad was in the military (US military) and I was a typical military brat meaning we moved a lot. I've lived in Italy, Denmark and Canada, Canada is where I live now and I have for the last 3 or so years. I'm a citizen and consider it home and don't plan to ever move again now that I don't have to.

My dad was also military.  USAF.  Moving sucks. 

I was born in the USA - Santa Monica California to be precise - and have lived in the US all my life.  Mainly the Los Angeles area but also for a bit in Huntsville, Alabama.  Mostly.

In terms of ancestry I am both Bohemian (Czechoslovakian) on my mother's side and Scottish Highlander on my father's.

Worst thing about it is you jump around so often you can't maintain friendships. I was lucky enough to have @Sakura as a friend but most others I'd lose touch with after moving again. Her and I lived on the same base 2x which was pretty lucky. It's made me want to stay right where I am now and not deal with moving as an adult.

I used to be a little jealous my sister lived with our dad and got to travel to all the countries he did because it seemed much cooler to me than living with my mom in a stationery place. Now that I'm a little older I realize I probably was the one who had it easier.

You get to experience different cultures while seeing a lot of places. It has its pros and cons.

I also experienced it a bit, although not as much as you & Serey. I guess that's sort of how we all met so I'm grateful for that.
