Runescape

I was just wondering if anyone still plays Runescape or has ever played it. I know it's an older game and was probably the most popular back in 2002-2007, but they have Old School Runescape that came out in I think 2014? Which I still play because it's, for the most part, how it was in the 2000's. 

I still enjoy it because it's a game that's pretty simple to understand and I like the repetitive things like fishing, woodcutting, and crafting, that I can do while listening to music, watching tv, or just chatting with friends. It also brings back a lot of nostalgia from my childhood - teen years when I played it and met some of my best friends online there.

That's one of the reasons I've always really liked RS, it was just easy to do and I'm not some crazy good gamer that likes to do a lot of boss fighting and things lol It was easy and kid version of me could pick up on it easy, and adult me still finds it relaxing and easy. I also liked the fact that you can play by yourself and you don't really need to team up with anyone ever.

I occasionally pop onto Runescape on rare occasions when I find myself really bored and it just happens to cross my mind, never play it for longer then 30 minutes though

You know I do since that is where we met many, many years ago 
Of course I still play this too but not as frequently as I once did. I have already maxed account on Runescape 3 and Old School Runescape, completed end-game armor and received 200m XP in the skills I wanted to obtain that goal in. Now I only get on sometimes for a clan war or to help friends - such as yourself - with raids.

Yeshhh 10 year old me at the chicken pen in Lumby where you were like "hey noob do you want to be friends I can teach you how to cut trees"  & now almost 20 years later I'm still stuck with you and you are somehow living in my home now  XD

I feel like starting a new character in Hardcore Ironman mode on Runescape lately... but to invest the time I don't know if I want to

Honestly, HCIM was one of my fave characters lol ~ I actually enjoyed playing the game again and just wandering around having to do literally everything without trading other people and collecting all resources for myself. And I got my HCIM to like total level 1575 before I kinda got bored and went back to main character. UIM I think is the craziest mode but most people do UIM. Seems the hardest though since you can't trade or use banks to store items.

I once tried the UIM for a little around a week and didn't enjoy it. I have tried plain Iron Man too and didn't feel it was challenging or interesting enough. The Hardcore I thought might be some challenge. I also think it would be fun to try the group Ironman if you and I and some friends made a group Ironman accounts.

I haven't ever actually tried it because I think I would last around an hour before I had a migraine and was throwing my computer straight out the window XD
Group though would be fun I somewhat talked about doing that with Orion at some point, dunno if he would still want to.

This bad thing about that is having to only use what you have in your inventory spaces and once you don't need it anymore you have to throw it away.

And this is what would drive me crazy about UIM because I barely have enough room in my bank as it as and have used almost all the 800 something slots in my bank XD

My bank is very much clean and organized into tabs thank you very much SIR. However I do have a tendency to store items that I don't really need but I might need later or have some weird sentimental value. Maybe I am a Runescape hoarder lollll

EVERY THING IN MY BANK HAS VALUE!!!~ Okay so I was just browsing my necklaces/amulets to see what I had and the 3rd age amulet I got when it was 17m is now worth 140m lolll I was kind of shocked it increased in price so much.

This is a nice profit I think you also mention before that your Dragon Claws risen in price since you bought it? They rise from 70m towards 100-105m lately.

Yupp I noticed D-claws went up too. I bought them for somewhere around 70m and when I pc'ed them earlier it was at 101m. I'm cool with that but I don't think I will sell them either. I don't think I want to sell my 3rd age ammy either despite the jump in price.

I think that Third Age will continue to rise in the price because it has been steady increased for the last 4 years. It never decreases but has moments of staying the same so I would say to hold onto it. I think Jagex is trying to find a way to make Third Age armor more useful given the price as right now it's only Fashionscape.

I hope so. It can keep on going up to 400..500.. heck even 1 billion if it wants to. I am perfectly okay with that XD 

It would  honestly make sense for 3rd age to DO something. I think it's about on par with Rune in terms of the armor.. they may have updated it I can't remember. I know the amulet is a good magic amulet though but a lot of 3rd age just doesn't really have great stats compared to some of the other armors. Which is a little wild considering it's all the in the 100m+ range with some of that even going to the billions. I kind of wish I had kept my 3rd age plate + plateskirt because it jumped in price too but I wasn't really wearing it as fashionscape anymore

It has higher defense than Rune armor and Torva and Justicar are only better in defense slot but if using something for that bonus it makes more sense to buy Justicar as it is even cheaper. No offensive bonus so to stick with Bandos is always far better. Only for the reason it is hard to obtain in a treasure trail reward is the price what it has become.

Justicar used to be expensive that set plummeted really low >_> Eh though I've never found much use for it except I think I used it when doing Corp or Bandos I can't remember.. for just slayer or every day cb training it just makes sense to use Bandos or Torva.

I never used Justicar for anything but I have that in my bank. I don't remember when I bought this. It seems a lot like the Dinh Bulwark with not a lot of use anymore.

Lolll I had that Bulwark too but I sold it a long time ago. I don't know what the price on it is anymore but I think it came down a lot. I mean, you can't really even do anything with it since it's 2-handed and it's a shield so you can't attack. I feel like people just have it for the fashionscape so you run funny lol

The price around 20 million for it as now. Really, this only use is doing things in the wilderness that don't require combat and using it as defensive as most people use this at the prayer altar in the wilderness. You can attack with it set on pummel but the damage isn't great  The special attack gives you the strength bonus based upon your defense level.

I think that's about the same as what I thought it was going for ~ 

Ohh totally forgot people actually go in the wildy lmao and yeah there is that whole Chaos Temple Altar thing to do prayer on.. I was kinda into the idea of trying that but the place is covered in PK'ers half the time so it didn't end up being worth it to me and I just did 99 Prayer in my house altar.
