I felt like mine sucked and it took so much work XD I might try gifs again but it's really complicated for me because I'm basically figuring it out as I go with no instructions. People who can make .gifs are now like gods in my eyes LOL

No dear pls dont look down to your animationfrom 1st glance they are neat it just need more depths and tricks I guess You can call gods to those who are in the game and anime studio

Me neither I started gif'ng like you and Forlorn,, while making too much gifs, there s the point you can also figure out some tricks how it work and to improve as well. 

I grew in our local site even the site owner like animation, he designed his forum with full of animation effects lol, members also love animation and Im one of the host of animation contest before altho the contestants are better than me

Ya I don't actually have a program to make them on which is why it became complicated. I know you can make .gif on Photoshop but I actually don't know how to do that and used a free program so the .gif's I made are very, very simple  It's fun though and I like trying new things so possible I might go back to it eventually ;D 

Honestly yeah, I think the key is "practice, practice, practice" lol ~ I can see why tbh your .gifs are amazing

I actually use different programs like photoscape, xara 3d, adobe animate, adobe photoshop cs3 and cs5 and more You can actually make animation in adobe animate using only one tool then follow up using adobe photoshop for other effects and designs and inject a gif format from anime or game and more~ the process is fun if you already understand and master the process but it consume too much time

If you are interested I can teach you like putting another animation in a gif but im not good at teaching lol

That's a lot going on there XD I was basically just making the graphic in Photoshop then adding the gif using another program so I was only using the 2. But yes it does take soooo much time lol ~ I mean making one GFX alone can take hours anyways. If you have time someday, sure, it would be cool if you taught me something ;D

Yup it really take time depends on what gfx you are goin' to make. Your gfx are examples and was impressive tbh am also practicing a girl style gfx like I want to learn your style too, later just wait lol am goin' to post here if it ok for you? Just askin' permission

Lol yeah my style tends to be pretty girly. I use a lot of flower and "cute" style PNGs. You should try that style, you'd prolly be really good at it and  it's not a very hard style either. I have PSDs of my style too I could share with you if you ever want to look at them. Sometimes that can help  with learning things.

I suck at teaching too loll but I'm free a lot now with it being Summer so anytime really when you're free

Im currently doing it, pls let me try it first without psd while doin the gif tutorial, this gonna be easy teaching^^

Edit: Here's the psd, I made new 2 layers (music icon 1 & music icon 2, I only 'rotate' the 1st music icon layer a bit)

Observe the layers music icon 1 & music icon 2 while moving your 'Animation Frames' 1,2,3, to 16 on how it work. That's the most basic how to put another motion/animation in a gif^^

Edit 2: Here's another effect I put, this time I randomly on & off the layers.

Edit 3: To put another gif animation just put all the layers in one folder and drag it to your main project. The folder I dragged, I renamed to Group 2.

I don't have a lot of mood shifts or at least I don't show them and I keep them to myself :V Sad moods create some good art though.

I think I understand what you're meaning. Thanks for the PSD's by the way. When I can look at something and see what's going on I learn way better lol ~ I kinda had a small understanding of this such as like adding group folders to create the animations. My main issue is when I usually finish the animation and save it, the quality is so... bad.. lol like it doesn't retain its normal quality at all

THOSE ARE GOOD  if you want my PSD for how I make this style I am happy to give it you, just message me privately because I don't want to share it on the forum where anyone can download it and use it lol The way I usually do these are so simple that it might surprise you because I can do about 50 of these in around an hour LOL

That's indeed correct, sad mood create some good arts, that s why most good artists are moody and so you are moody too that define you are very good artist hehe^^, 

I hardly try to copy the blend but the layout is not that hard only the blending nosebleed me

Welcome am also thinking ways to make it more understandable! About saving the gif with nice quality is a puzzle to me when started animation. When doing manually with less color, you can come up with good quality. Sometimes it depends on color combination and mixing color like gradient, the output is somewhat noisy or pixilated! If you want a better quality, we can do it as apng format most browsers are now supported that format

I noticed that when I was making them. Less color = higher quality in the gifs. I tend to use a lot of color and I think think that was making it worse lol ~ if saving it as a PNG though it won't stay as a gif will it?

Yup better quality with lesser file size. Some game developers does lesser color to have lesser file size to be stored in the ssd or hdd after installing the game. 

Saving as png in photoshop will only result no animation. There are other ways to create animation using png format. Am so happy when I learned that Will teach you after you did our 1st lesson

I wouldn't say that I'm a sad or moody person, but I definitely feel more creative when I listen to emotional music. I think that's because emotional music gives you more time to think about things and allows you time to think, while more energetic music is too busy and drives ideas away before they have time to form.

That's what inspires a lot of my GFX :V I've gotta find something good to listen to while creating or it won't turn out right. It might help me to focus too tbh.

Sir I think Im opposite to almost all gfx artist here, I mostly listen to the noise of my surrounding, like my parents talk too loud, they watch tv with very high volume, when dog barks and when neigbors shouted each other. I dont even have peace of mind while creating my arts

I'll prolly work on that lesson this weekend since this week I've started back to my volunteer work and finding myself having less time again  I'm off from it weekends and Wednesdays though so I'll have plenty of time to learn GIFs those days

I'm a music listener when I make GFX too lol in fact if you look at most of my GFX it contains song lyrics which is usually whatever song I'm spam listening to at the time. So usually a particular song inspires my GFX.

Thank you for the psd I saw your layers with a lot of color and layer adjustment = verygood color depth

Now I tried to make something and feels I collaborated with you while listening to emotional game and anime orchestrated music

They are all in png format to have better quality

I used the default Arial font because I dont have the original font used and I did a little digital pixel shading to make Sakura Eye pinky
