(Plugs in Vampire Hunter D) Well, don't you see, if it's not live-action, it might as well be a kids' cartoon. Because as we all know, Hellsing, Tenjho Tenge, Fate and Madoka Magica are all family fun for everyone! So is Family Guy. Everyone knows that's a kids' cartoon, totally!

Anime characters often look WAY better than real people and it saves money on special effects. . There's blood and guts. Swearing. nudity. And even the kids anime from japan have scenes they do not let kids see in America. Bastards. Plus when I was a kid we liked that you could see that stuff and your parents did not double check to see if the "cartoon" had anything inappropriate. K-chan
I have been watching anime since I was 4. Japanese media was always present in my life, even more than English or my native language. I may not watch as much anime as before; I prefer video games or manga for some quick entertainment these days. But nonetheless I can't imagine my life without the Japanese culture of anime, manga, light novel, VN etc... no matter my age.
