animechat
There are always many alternatives, and the problem with websites is DMCA takedowns. They are targeting not only hosting servers, but domains themselves, and that is why they often change domain names.

animechat
We're talking about anime sites, and there are a lot of them, so it's possible to find a list of the best anime sites. Ohayotaku
If you’re talking about illegal streaming (pirate) sites you should probably get used to them being shut down in greater numbers, though I doubt they’ll ever be eliminated entirely. Not really an issue for me because I don’t use them (though I have watched some unlicensed streams on Youtube in the past) If you mean forums dedicated to anime, things have been shifting towards Discords for quite some time now. Which is quite a shame; I don't care much for Discord's general function and layout, and it's terrible for any sort of digital preservation of online discussion. The biggest problem is always not being able to access full anime series in different countries. Some countries have limits, which is the same problem as Netflix.
