liking fiction -- is it a crime ?!

so yea, majority of the whole internet, will say that, liking a certain thing in fiction that is illegal IRL =/= a bad thing, since it can represent how the person is or something,

(i.e; story is about incest, and one person ships the incest to go, or loli-related topics and Guro)

even though, for me, it seems unlikely to happened in real life, majority of people on the internet seem to think otherwise~!

but thats the internet, what i wanna know is what does the AF communi-"tea" think of such thing's ?! (bite me, i saw my chance lmao)

so using the example above i bolded, what do you guys think of it ?!, do you guys despise people who read doujinshi (incase, you dont know what that is, you will find out in future ^_^) about incest or loli ?!, people whom' ship incest/loli stuff to happened ?!, or anything that seems illegal IRL that happens in anime in general ?!

do you think that if a person read's such thing's, they, in real life, would some day do it ?, 

do you think that if a person ship's two blood-related character's, together, that he/she should be burned on a stake like the witch he/she may or may not be ?!

are you disgusted by people who ship loli-R18 manga's ?, who read loli doujin's !?, who create loli doujin/incest doujin ?!

are you in general, okay with the "Guro" tags in, any, (anime,manga,doujin, etc), and if not, are what are you thought's on people who read them ?

(especially, if we go for the R18 guro stuff)

as for me, i personally dont mind incest/loli in anime or doujin's, if anything, i dont think it would make someone "do them" in real life, guro... is..yea i cant comment much on that, i personally dont like guro, whether its anime, or a doujinshi, i dont like reading/watching them, i can read them, but it feels like a sad story, and i dont wanna feel sad when i read/watch, i came there to laugh and have fun >.>

in my point of view, a person doesn't read a manga full of incest, and goes "oh hey, it worked in manga, so i guess i can do this to my sister, and everything will work out fine ^_^"

...unless that said person cant differentiate real life from fiction, which could be bad, probably

im also not really disgusted by people who read incest/loli's, i mean its their preference, everyone has their own likes and hate's, i say "two" each their own... (i couldnt resist >.<)

as for guro....yea no thank you, i dont know how people can see it, personally, im not disgusted, but i myself cant watch those, if its anime, sure, if its manga, 20% yes, 80% no, if doujinshi, 9000% noooo thankkkk youuuu~!

 

as per usual: TLDR; what do you think of the tag's INCEST, LOLI and GURO in anime/manga's or doujinshi, and what do you think of people who read them and (enjoy?) them

I do not despise people simply based on their opinions or what they like.  That doesn't mean that I agree with it, but I am of the belief that most people are capable of educated discussions.  Incest I cannot personally agree with but Loli is a bit different.  Loli generally means that the individual (though oftentimes this is done by inserting childish quirks and mannerisms, childish clothing, etc) looks very young, possibly even underaged, but is actually of legal age.  I have no problems with that.  Let's face it...many women participate in a version of that (forever 25...  even at 40 years for example).  Call us ladies vain, but age (like oftentimes weight) is something a woman is always trying to hide lol.  I can respect that.  There is plenty of crazy things that happen in movies, so anime isn't entirely to blame for all of this.

 

Now, to answer some of your listed questions.  No, I do not believe that simply reading a story about guro (gore...had to look that up), incest, or loli would make me want to do it someday.  I do believe that by reading stories with those concepts empathized in positive manners that it can eventually become culturally acceptable (over time and across a population).  Cultural acceptance (or desensitization) however is more a tolerance factor and not necessarily indicative of direct effect.  I do believe however with cultural acceptance the chance that a person might want to commit such an act (direct effect) would increase (but then you would need proper environment, opportunity, and so on).

 

I do not believe that shipping incest should cause a person to be burned at the stake.  That is a severe overreaction.  There are far more constructive things a person who disagrees with another can do instead of murder and name-calling.  On the Loli subject, it really depends on whether they are of consenting age. 

 

I personally don't mind guro (most horror fans are not going to mind it so much).  At this point, I think society is fairly desensitized to gore so I'm not sure that it really does any more damage than has already been done to society.  But...are you talking about erotic guro?  You would need to clarify...

this, its the true meaning of loli, but since loli's are usually portraited as underaged girls, society seems to despise them~ (while majority of those in the internet, from a certain thread, loves them, to the degree they are intasked to protect their smile, (im guilty as one of those people))

guro in non-erotic, and erotic's are somewhat part of it, i cant stand erotic guro, its too much for me, i can stand for normal guro, but to the extent, but i would rather avoid see'ing them (especially, if its from a manga that focuses on said genre, i.e. Junji ito's "uzumaki", i think, google said it, "my love for you will stop this car" ?)

Personally, people can like whatever they want. Fiction is a category of writing that is meant to entertain and explore things that we might not otherwise experience, and to do that, it needs to sometimes explore things that we would not be okay with, in order to make us really question things.

As for the loli, incest, and guro thing, I had to look up guro, and it sounded really disgusting, so I do not want to touch that with a ten-foot pole. Incest seems to be somewhat okay, as many of the series that I have come across do not border into the porn area, aside from Yosuga, but a person in real life with those kinds of feelings would make me think that this is something wrong with them in the head.

Loli is something that is kind of between to me. I am okay if it is what was mentioned in the above posts, but unless I am familiar with the series or character, I would also find be weirded out if somebody actually tried to be in a relationship with such a person.
