I prefer Marvel's movies for the most part, even if they faltered in recent years, but DC has had the occasional hit. But I prefer DC's comics and cartoons, if with DC the comic side only wins by a hair since I don't trust Marvel at all and wrote the Spider-Man comics in particular off as a lost cause; I promised myself going forward, even if fans praise a Marvel run as it's happening, I will wait until it's finished before it's even worth the consideration. DC at least has my Sonic crossover. DC's cartoons are also preferred. My favorite has always been Teen Titans, though the DCAU has never been far behind. Marvel has had good shows, but even the best ones never really left the same impact. For the gaming side of things...I'd say they're about equal in that field. And I mean that for both the good and the bad. But really, neither have ever really had my absolute favorite comics. My favorite mainstream comics have been from Archie (Sonic, Mega Man) or IDW (Sonic again, TMNT). DC and Marvel have always been less of a priority for me. Especially these days.
