drill
So, I've used a lot of different torrent clients. Some came in browsers like Baidu or Torch, and others were standalone like uTorrent, Vuze, Transmission, Bittorrent, Deluge, and perhaps a few others I can't remember now. Anyway, I'm using Deluge now as I like the UI and it seems to be the fastest one out there (as I did do tests on all of them).
drill
Since I've updated Torch, and decided to use that as my main browser now, I've changed torrent clients to the built one in Torch. Surprisingly, it has made quite a few improvements, not just speed, but the UI as well.
Cocopuff
I'm personally a uTorrent guy. I used to use Azureus way back when, but for some reason switched to uTorrent and have stuck with it since.
drill
I'm personally a uTorrent guy. I used to use Azureus way back when, but for some reason switched to uTorrent and have stuck with it since. I used to use both as well, but I only tried Azureus after they became Vuze. About uTorrent though, if you don't have the paid version, you should definetly check out this article: Â http://lifehacker.com/disable-ads-in-utorrent-via-settings-826283231
Cocopuff
I honestly didn't even know that uTorrent had ads. I'm not running pro, and I've never seen an ad before o_o
Ryuji
I use bittorrent but after reading that Drill said that Deluge is really fast, I might switch to Deluge.
Ryuji
After comparing the speeds of Deluge to bittorrent, I've found that bittorrent is faster for me....which is weird since drill said deluge was faster for him.
drill
After comparing the speeds of Deluge to bittorrent, I've found that bittorrent is faster for me....which is weird since drill said deluge was faster for him. That's odd. The only thing I can think of is that Deluge makes better use of more bandwidth, while bittorrent does better at managing smaller amounts of bandwidth. Of course, it could be the case that bittorrent improved since I used it last, as it has been a while.
Optic
Usual Disclaimer: I do not condone this when anime titles are released and licensed, please support our lovely animation studios by buying your titles and merchandise when they're licensed in your country etc. etc. Â I've been pretty happy with Deluge but for this season I am switching to the built in client called Download Station on my Synology NAS. Â I am linking up RSS feeds for each show I would like to watch so it will automatically download it as soon as the release is available. Most torrent clients support RSS feeds but I figure since the NAS is always on 24/7 it is the ideal device. Â Â And even set it to email me when it has finished (i.e. a new release): Â I also have Plex set to automatically update my library every hour from the NAS so theoretically that should keep it fully automated... will see how it goes. Â For the record, I have never seen Symphogear - it was a random example to test the concept.
God Gohan
I stopped using Utorrent, but that was my first client. Then I went to Vuze, and went back to uTorrent. Now I moved on to getting myself a seedbox. I usually just have Netflix, and Hulu, and I'm about to subscribe to crunchyroll so that's where I usually get my daily dose of anime. zoop
I just stick with qBittorent, myself. It's fairly simple, straight forward, and no-frills, but I can appreciate that. I can recommend it for folks looking for something light weight and easy to use.
